Eight: Season 3

Episode 72: Taking Back Arcadia-Sero vs Xia

Hanta-
I had already save Bakugo and was back to fighting Xia after warning Kiri and Tetsu to be careful.
"A lightning user versus a chaos user, except I'll reserve that for a later day. Lightning is weak to poison, so that's what we'll use." Xia said.
"Ah geez." I muttered
"Poison King Cobra: Armitox!" Xia shouted, summoning the cobra that flew him into the air.
She smiled darkly. "Try and keep up Hanta." Xia said, flying away.
  I summoned my Wolfcreed companion named Raiden. "You ready?" I asked, and Raiden nodded, opening his Angel wings.
He flew us up into the air. "Attack!" Xia shouted.
  The cobra jabbed me and sent us back a bit. My abdomen turned slightly purple. "Oh crap?" I asked.
  "Oops, my bad Hanta. Oh well, now Armitox's poison will slowly spread through your body and the more attacks you take from us...the more poison will enter your system." Xia said.
  "I don't care about that, I just care about beating you and saving Jade!" I shouted, gripping my abdomen and then taking my stance.
  "Lightning Dragon's Roar!!" I shouted, attacking.
  Xia jumped off of Armitox to dodge. "Poison Dragon Roar!" Xia shouted, attacking me.
  I flew back, more poison. "Hanta..." Raiden started.
  "Don't even think about it. I'm fine." I said.
Armitox hit me with his tail and sent me flying.
"Lightning-" I started.
  "Too slow!" Xia shouted, standing on Armitox, from behind me.
I flipped upside down to protect Raiden and took a blow to my chest. I grunted. "What kind of magic does she use to know my every move?" I asked.
  "I dunno, but it's a problem." Raiden said.
  Xia smiled evilly at us. "I think I'm going to enjoy this fight." Xia said.
  Xia ordered Armitox to attack us, but luckily we were able to dodge. "Lightning Lance!" I shouted, but I missed and was struck by Armitox's tail.
  I gritted my teeth. "Lightning Saucer Barrage!" I shouted firing multiple attacks, but Xia and Armitox easily dodged.
  I felt the poison and exhaustion due to me using my magic so much. I breathed heavily and shakily. "Yeah. looks like you're starting to feel it." Xia said, and Armitox attacked me with his tail again.
  We flew through the air. "I can can hear your thoughts." Xia said, and Armitox hit me again.
  I grabbed Raiden as we hurdled towards the ground and hit it, my back dragging through the concrete. I grunted, my back hurting now.
  Armitox and Xia appeared and attacked me. Raiden grabbed me and flew us into a building. I leaned against the wall in the building, breathing heavily.
  "Hanta...your body is-" Raiden started looking over me with great concern.
My body was turning purple from the poison. I grunted, my hand on his head, smiling as I pet him.
"Not good." I whispered, in pain.
  "Please let someone else fight her! You're too badly injured." Raiden begged.
  "I...can't...everyone else is badly injured too." I said.
  The ground began to crack and I moved to the side to avoid a hit. Instead, Xia hit me from the side.
  "I can hear you." Xia said.
  I tossed lightning at her and tried to run. Xia dodged and held my neck, lifting me.
  "She must possess some kind of mind reading magic!" Raiden said.
  I grabbed her hand, coughing, trying to get away from her. "Close, but not quite. I use Listening Magic that allows me to hear thoughts." Xia said, clutching me harder.
  I grunted, struggling and in pain, so Raiden tried something. "Well?" Zappy asked.
  "You're thinking of how much you want to protect Hanta right now. It's sweet." Xia said.
  I was shocked, listening magic? I looked at Raiden...he really just wanted to keep me safe. I smiled a bit at Raiden.
  Xia clutched me tighter and I screamed out, flailing. "Let...me...GOOO!!" I yelled, barely able to breathe.
  Xia laughed evilly and looked at me. "What's on your mind right now? I wonder?" Xia asked, slamming me into the wall by my neck.
"AAAGGGHHH!" I screamed out.
"Oh...I see. All you're thinking about is protecting your people. How cute." Xia said.
  I already knew the difficulty of my situation, and Raiden realized it too. "He's planning on getting the jump on me? Ha! How adorable your little pet wolf is." Xia said, clutching me tighter.
  "NNNGGG...AAAAAHHHH!" I screamed out.
"You have plans from A-Z and 0-♾️ in that brilliant little noggin of yours Hanta. I'm impressed." Xia said.
  I grabbed her arm and wrapped myself around it, flipping her. I landed and coughed, gripping my throat. Raiden attached himself to my back again, we attacked Xia with a barrage of lightning encased punches and kicks. One of my attacks managed to graze her, much to Xia's surprise.
  I utilized the opening I made and continued to attack Xia relentlessly. "What!? All I can see is her!! Your memories of Jade!! STOP!! STOP IT!" Xia shouted.
  I had her on the ropes for a while. Then, she grabbed both of my hands. She wrapped her hands in her magic.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!" I screamed out, as she burnt me with poison.
"You dumbass. I am using poison! You can't win lightning user!" Xia shouted, immediately attacking me with her claws.
  Raiden narrowly moved me from the attack. Xia jumped off of Armitox, with her feet coated in poison, and kicked me.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!" I screamed out as her attack burnt my skin.
"My poisonous strikes can decay anything they touch. You're done!" Xia shouted.
  "Nah, I don't think so. Lightning Dragon's Electric Claw!!" I shouted, attacking.
  "Poison Cobra's Fang Thrust!" Xia shouted.
  The two attacks caused an explosion and I fell from Raiden's hands. "Hanta!!" Raiden shouted, and he caught me.
  "That was close. Thanks pal." I said, one eye closed and weakly.
  Raiden smiled. "Sure." He said, flying me back into the air.
  We charged at Xia and Armitox, but they managed to dodge all of my attacks. Xia grabbed me, and tossed me. I grabbed Raiden from my back as I hit several buildings and got stuck in one.
  "AAAAGGGGHHHH!" I cried out, coughing up blood in pain, about a quarter of my body was coated in poison.
  "Oh...please let someone else take over."
Raiden said.
  I smiled and chuckled weakly, inhaling sharply. "I can't...I'm the only one...strong enough...for this. Look." I said, pointing to my friends who were all KO'd.
  "Lightning Dragon Claw!" I shouted.
  "Poison Cobra's Spiral Jaw!!" Xia shouted, and I was overpowered.
  We fell towards the ground and I held Raiden. I cradled his fall, screaming out. "DIE DAMNIT!!!" Xia shouted. "Poison Cobra's BELLOW!!" Xia shouted, and the attack hit...exploding. I laid sprawled out in the ground.
  "It's...no good." I said, weakened from the poison.
"HANTA!" Raiden shouted.
I closed my eyes as my memories of Jade staying behind to protect us from Barbra's executioners. I clenched my fist, my body trembling as air rolled over onto my hands and knees.
"NO HANTA!!!" Raiden yelled.
I smiled darkly. "I don't consider this fighting fair Xia, for the record." I said, and I wrapped myself in lightning.
She smiled and chuckled at me. "Raiden...we can do this." I said, standing up.
"YEAH! We'll kick her ass!!" Raiden exclaimed.
  I smiled and laughed, and then I got serious as Raiden flew us up. "Poison Cobra's Scales!" She shouted, but she missed as Raiden skillfully avoided each one.
  "Lightning Lance!" I shouted, but she saw through it and dodged, however, I got into close range of Xia.
  "Lightning Dragon's Roar!" I shouted, but Xia grabbed my mouth and threw me aside.
  Raiden was able to save me from falling. "Armitox: Poison Mist!" Xia shouted, and her power was replenished.
  "Ok what!? How is that fair!" I whined.
  Xia smiled darkly, laughing. "It's not. Poison Cobra's Bellow!!" Xia shouted, and the attack came towards me.
  I tossed Raiden away from the blast and took the full brunt of it. I crashed into the ground, rolling, skidding, and breathing heavily. "My poison attacks are killing you slowly from the inside out. One more oughta do the trick." Xia said.
"That a fact?" I asked, weakly, the poison overtaking most of my body.
  "Blackest day, blackest night, let your energy flow through me. Pass judgement upon thy children. Let your magic power flow through me! POISONOUS VENOM LANCE!!!" Xia shouted, and the attack hit me.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!" I screamed out, as I was pushed into the ground and barely able to stand.
  I was barely conscious, breathing heavily, already 95% covered in poison. I clenched my fist. "I'm so sorry I couldn't save you...Shoto, Jade." I began, tearing up in the crater.
Xia laughed evilly. "Surrender to me now Arcadia! You're Captain is dead! You're demon child is nowhere to be found! You're last hero is taking his final breaths. Your best fighters may have taken my team down, but they're also all dying! GIVE INTO ME!!!" Xia roared.
  I gripped the ground, wrapped in my lightning. "You think...I'm done...I'm...just...getting...started...XIA!!!!" I roared, the sky turning dark and lightning began to strike erratically as I stood up. "I AIN'T FINISHED YET!" I yelled, as the lightning struck behind me.
Xia turned her full attention to me, smiling darkly. "Excellent, very excellent. I'm surprised you've lasted this long, but you won't after this. Poison Dragon's Twin Fang!" Xia shouted, firing and hitting me.
  I stood up. "I WILL NEVER GIVE UP!" I shouted, my body completely covered in poison.
And even though Jade wasn't here right now, and we had no idea is she was alive or dead or where she was. I felt her strength flowing inside me.
  "Thanks for reminding me that I'm a total badass." I said, clutching my heart as the lightning struck me directly and I was boosted.
  "What!?" Xia shouted.
  "Lightning-Water Dragon's Spiked Sword Chaotic Spiral!!" I shouted.
  The spiked lightning sword spiraled down to directly hit Xia and Armitox. On impact, it melted into a giant Jellyfish that encased her sending amplified electricity through her. She screamed out at the zap of lightning as it caged her and the rain began to fall.
I clenched my fists, horribly damaged, covered in poison, as I burst from the rubble and Arcadia came out of the catacombs. I screamed out and threw my left hand into the air in an L shape, my palm facing towards my face and the top of my hand showing.
"YEAH!!!!!" Arcadia yelled, doing the same.
I panted and fell back, but Daeva caught me. "You idiot." She said.
I smiled, but Xia burst from the rubble. "This isn't over yet Hanta Sero! You still have no idea where Jade is!! YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE LAST OF ME!!!" Xia yelled, grabbing her people and wrapping herself in an aura.
I reached but I couldn't get up, and then I saw a heavily wrapped Shoto run at Xia and grab her before they vanished.
"SHOTOOOOOOOO!!!" I yelled.
