In the beginning, people lived in peace. Witches, wizards, mages, warriors, assassins and others all lived together. Everything was fine. Until one day, they started to disagree with each other.

"Gather around, gather around! I would like to say something!"

The one spoke loudly on a rock was no other than a king but he didn't rule everyone as they had a democracy. They had one leader/ruler of each other where all would discuss of the troubles.

People gathered around and soon enough, half of the village was going to listen to him. The other leaders stood near him, wondering what he wanted to say, they didn't discuss of having a meeting with him.

"I had a dream yesterday and thought about it thoroughly. What if we had just one leader to rule everyone? There will be other important higher up but there will be just one powerful leader!"

The people looked at each other and mumbled of his words. The leaders didn't agree with him.

"What are you saying? That you will be our king? Do you take us as fools?!" The female witch leader spat at him.

"That's nonsense! We've agreed that there will be multiple leaders and that is final!" The male wizard leader said as he glared at the foolish king.

"I say it's a bad idea but I want to change things. Me and my people want to punish people who have done terrible things. Say like: killing them. It is what we do best. And I can start with this king!" The male assassin leader said as he looked ready to jump the king in front of everyone.

"No! No killing! You know the rules. As much we don't like this new king deal, it's not necessary! We could keep him a cell and he can stay there forever. That's more reasonable than killing." The female warrior leader said as she crossed her arms and glared at both of them.

The people agreed with their own leader but also disagreed with the other ideas they didn't like at all. Each group only liked one idea and that was fine with them. They bickered with each other and grew mad that any second they would be fighting with each other!

"Enough!!!"

Everyone grew quiet as they saw who silenced them. It was the mage leader and he was oldest from all of the leaders. He was also the wisest so they listened to what he would say.

"I know that most of you want to do your own thing and that's fine. But listen to what I have to say. If you wish to do your own rules, may you do it somewhere else. You may leave and do as you wish. Stay here and listen everything the leaders say. Hear these words carefully, because I won't say them again. Whoever leaves from this place may or may not be our allies. Think wisely."

The people stayed quiet while some of them muttered under their breath. The leaders eyed each other but didn't bickered. They liked his speech and with that, the meeting was over.

Everyone have left to their homes, including the leaders. No fights happened during or after the meeting. The old mage leader thought of his words at home that made his family worried. Night fall came and his daughter walked and sat next to him.

"Father, what's on your mind? You've been thinking something so hard since you made that speech. You have everyone worried." She asked with her hands over his own hands.

"I've been thinking and decided, we are leaving too. We've been here too long." He sighed.

"What?! Are you actually agreeing with them? Are you feeling ill?" She exclaimed.

"I feel fine, my sweet daughter. The thing is, we need to go back to our origins. We don't have enough energy here to do our powers. And you do know that without our powers, we don't feel free. Our mage powers makes us feel alive and lively!" He said as he closed his eyes.
