I was about to sleep when someone knocked.

"Ma'am Jelai.."

"Yes po?"

"Pinapababa po kayo ni sir, eh.."

May kakaiba sa boses niya, Something's.. wrong.

"Sige, I'll just find my sleepers."

Sinarado niya ang pinto at sinimulan kong hanapin ang mga tsinelas ko.

I was humming all the way.

"Where's my highlighters?!" Galit niyang sigaw sa akin. Ang mukha ay namumula at  bakas sa tinig ang galit.

"I don't know" Simple kong sabi, ano namang kinalaman ko sa highlighters niya?

"You don't know, huh? Eh sinong kukuha sa kwarto ko no'n? Yung mga kasambahay?!"

"I am telling you, Hindi ko alam ang pinagsasasabi mo. Bakit ba ako Ang sinisisi mo? Nahanap mo na ba sa lahat nang sulok ng Bahay na'to?" Sumbat ko.

"You're the only one who's a stranger to me. They've been working for us for like 17 years already and i only met you yesterday!"

So.. he can't trust my words because I'm a stranger?

Fine, then I won't trust him either.

Tumakbo ako pataas at nagkulong.

Fucking bastard.

I don't even know what highlighters is he talking about.

"You're the only one who's a stranger to me"

"Arghh! Walang modo!" Sigaw ako nang sigaw dahil sa galit.

I didn't eat that night because I don't want to see his face, monster.

I woke up with a swollen eyes, I didn't know I cried this hard for being yelled at, lol.

I immediately took a shower and decided to go to a cafe to relax. I wore a white turtleneck with a cardigan and a khaki brown trouser, I decided to wear a white rubber shoes.

After putting a light make up, I started walking down the stairs.

Ignore him, Ignore him.

"Where are you going?" A cold and sleepy voice spoke.

I didn't bother to look or even respond to his statement. Akala ko ba ‘wag kang iupdate? Tapos ngayon where are you going ka pang nalalaman.

I successfully got out of the house and immediately hop in my car. It's dirty and dusty, I should stop by the car wash and ask them to clean my car.

I did what I want, I drop my car on the car wash and go to the cafe. It was just facing each other so it won't be a hassle for me to fetch my car.

"Good morning, ma'am" bati ng nakabantay sa pinto ng cafe.

I smiled at her to acknowledge his greetings.

"Oh! Scarlett! What brings you here? Long time no see, ah?" Frida, My friend who owns this cafe.

"I have so many chika, but you're still busy so I'll wait there" turo ko sa upuan na malapit sa bintana.

This place became my comfort zone. It has comforting surroundings, the colors aren't that bright that's why it look so good to be in here. My paintings are displayed here, people come and take a picture with it. They didn't know I painted that because I just gave it to Frida as Birthday gift.

I'm not a professional painter, but I can paint. Just because you aren't professional doesn't mean you can't do painting, You can always freely do whatever you want, even if it's not your best in your perspective, someone will always admire your work.
