-Abigail's POV-

Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock-

BEEP!

I roll over to the other side of the bed. Looking at the clocked located to my left.

6:12 A.M.

Dammit it's too early for this; I think to myself. Rubbing my eyes, I groggily hit the button on the clock.  I don't want to get up however, I know I should.  Birds are chirping outside and I hear yelling downstairs.

Rolling out of bed, I walk slowly to my closest. Rubbing my eyes again, I pull out a Sleeping With Sirens t-shirt that says "Feel"; featuring a diamond with the band's name.  A classic band tee.  My entire closet is filled with band tees, I hate wearing colorful clothes.

Now at my dresser by my window, I pick up my phone and unplug it from the charger. "1 New Message" unlocking it I check the message-

Text from: Lucy,
Hey boo, we still going skateboarding tonight?

Lucy is my best friend from 7th grade. She's the exact definition of a stereotypical Scene Girl. She has neon green hair with black streaks (to show off her features), dark brown eyes (almost as if they were black), gauges, and a tongue piercing. We skateboard at the nearby park every other day; half pipes calling our names.

I open the bottom drawer to my dresser; pulling out black skinny ripped jeans. I put the rest of my necessities, including a bra, underwear, and socks, in a pile with the shirt and respond to Lucy's message.

Duh! Gtg get ready ttyl!

I went into the bathroom with my belongings and put on "Bulletproof Love" by Pierce the Veil.

I throw on my clothes and start doing my eyeliner, when my favorite part of the song plays-

"This isn't fair! Don't you try to blame this on me. My love for you is bulletproof but you're the one who shot me!"

I got done singing the verse and went back to doing my makeup.

After I was done putting makeup on I starting teasing my hair. My vibrant red hair covers my left eyebrow with stray hairs that makes it seem like it's supposed to look the way it is. My hair goes all the way to my stomach; I love that it's so long. I hair sprayed my hair to ensure that it'd stay in place and checked my snake bites; still looks good.

Checking the time,  I realize I need to leave shortly-after all it's a slightly after 7.  Hopefully my foster mom won't care that I won't be eating breakfast.

After getting ready, I grab my board and handbag and head to the kitchen. I see her sitting in her normal spot drinking coffee,  walk passed. Closing the door behind me, I walk to the sidewalk and place my board on the ground.  Living about a quarter of a mile away from school, is an enjoyable ride.

-Sage's POV-

I awoke to Alex calling my cell. Jumping out of bed I check the time; 7:24. I pick up my phone, answering it, and grab a random pair of jeans and a black t-shirt that are on my floor.

"Dude, when are you getting here?" My friend Alex asked.

Alex is a brunette with gel making his hair have a sweep up. He has blue eyes, and in on the football team with me, and is dope to hang out with.

Placing the phone on speaker, I scramble to put my pants on, "Yeah, lemme get ready first."  Realizing I completely ignored his question I swore silently.

"Sleep in again, Cruise?"

I was in the bathroom fixing my hair. Making sure my hair covers the the tip of my eyes; Which they were. My hair goes to my ears, which some make fun of, but I think it's bad ass. I looked at my black hair again and looked at my snake bites. "I think my bites are infected or something."

Looking at them closely they are a dark red.  I realize they may just be irritated and not infected.

Alex, I assumed, huffed, "Nice, blowing off my question. Later dude, I'm meeting the cheerleaders early." Alex hung up; as I put on some Axe and deodorant.  Jogging down the stairs to the living room. Hugged my mom goodbye, and I was on my way to high school.
