-Sage's POV-

Abigail looked out the window. Most likely thinking of the right words to say. "Okay...I went to the party to see for a couple reasons. One was because-

"I'm sorry," Abigail couldn't finish what she was going to say. A nurse came in. "But sir, I am going to have to ask you to leave. Miss Abigail is unstable and must get some rest."

I wasn't about to argue. Last time I tried staying at a hospital they sent guards. I looked at Abigail one more time-she had a look of almost guilt-then the nurse shut the door.

Hmm what to do. Jogging down the steps at the hospital I thought I'd text Alex and see if you wanted to shoot some hoops.

To: Alex
Hoops on 4th and main?

Walking out of the doors of the hospital and grabbing my skateboard , I nodded to the receptionist. I received a message from someone.

From: Alex
Sure. I need to talk to you anyways.

As I was skating to the basketball court I couldn't help but think why he needs to talk to me.

Swish! Another three pointer in the hoop. Ah how it's been a while. Grabbing the ball I heard my phone change songs to Devastating stereo by jabbawockeez. I jogged to the elbow and shot. Hitting the rim, I knew it would not be able to get in. I look over to see Alex holding the ball.

He cleared his throat, Shaking my head I said, "What did you want to talk about?"

He passed the ball back, shifting left and right. "Stay away from Abigail." He said rather rough.

"Why does it matter to you?"

"It will ruin you. Okay," Alex stated looking out in the distance. "I know people you don't. I know things I should never remember. So Cruise, don't."

I huffed knowing he was serious. Yet will I do it? "Since when do you care about her?"

Looking distinct he mumbled, "Let's play."

"Uh...alright,"

Alex and I started some hoops.

Abigail's POV (when Sage left)

I wish I could tell him. He might be nice enough to understand, however, I don't know.

"Miss Abigail?" The nurse, who was placing the medicine away. "Did you hear what I had just said?"

Shaking my head, "No.  What was that?"

"Your blood pressure is doing fine however, your heart rate is very high."

All I got was fine and high. Nodding anyway I responded, "When is he allowed to come back?"

She smiled lightly, "When you become stable." And with that she left.

God how I hate hospitals. So many memories just within reach.

Thinking about many thoughts I slowly and surly fell into a soundless sleep.
