Chapter 1

Modern AU Ig?

It's a quiet day in Liyue.. the sun shining brightly with hardly and bad weather. Particularly a warm calm breeze but that is mostly all.

Lyney had a calm smile on his face as his gaze wandered, looking at the breath-taking scenery. "Woah.." He mumbled to himself as his wide eyes sparkled with enthusiasm before shifting his gaze back to Lynette and Freminet. "Guys look!" He suddenly exclaimed as he pointed to a hill. "Are you seriously amazed by.. mountain goats?" Lynette sighed as she spoke in her usual calm tone as she glanced towards the direction her brother pointed towards.

Freminet wasnt paying much attention, his gaze only grazed the scenery although noticed they were nearing a city of some sort.. it well less designed than Fontaine, but boy, it looked absolutely wonderful! Freminet's expression softened as he gave a soft exhale through his mouth before noticing his siblings strolled off far ahead. He was debating if he should hurry along or take his time until Lyney noticed Freminet was far back. "Hey! Come on!" He chuckled softly as he tilted his head briefly towards the direction they were walking. Freminet's gaze on the scenery faltered before shifting his gaze back to his siblings, before speeding up his pace slightly just enough to catch up.

After some time, the three of them have reached a bridge leading into the city.

Freminet sighed following his brother, before pausing. "Hey... Lyney, I'll join you guys later.. okay?" He suddenly spoke in his usual quiet tone as he stood still gazing at his brother and sister, Lyney gave a warm smile before nodding. "Alright, Just be safe Fremi~!" He hummed happily before shifting his gaze away and walking away with Lynette again. Freminet blinked a couple times before turning around and going into a forest of some sort.. well finally he would be able to get more peace and silence.....

Or so he thought.

Freminet continued to amble through the quiet forest, kicking a pebble here and there, before hearing some faint splashes of water, it caught Freminet's attention, so he glanced towards the direction of the sound and slowly made his way towards it.

Freminet stayed silent as he peeked his head past a tree, although noticing a boy about his age sitting on a boulder of some sort, although the boy seemed to be throwing some pebbles into the water of the still and quiet lake in front of him. Freminet narrowed his pale blue eyes although his expression calm, although taking notice of the stranger's unusual hair... brown hair with a dark red dye, his hair has a small ahoge at the very top of his head, and his hair is fluffed out in a half-up-half-down. Freminet's gaze stayed until he accidently stepped on a twig, causing the boy who was sitting on the stone to snap his head towards the direction of the twig snapping.

Freminet was quite awkward so he simply stayed silent as the boy gazed at him with his light brown eyes, the boy soon gave a soft smile, tilting his head to the side slightly. "Hello there! I'm Gaming," He had a polite tone as he got up to face Freminet. 

The blonde haired boy stayed silent as he shifted his gaze away briefly, but his grey-blue eyes gazing at Gaming once more, his mouth slightly opened before finally replying "I'm.. Freminet." Gaming's eyes lit up as he had a bright smile on his face. "Its nice to meet you, Freminet!" He trailed off as the two boys sat in a silence for a couple moments.

The silence was loud, you could even hear the faint sounds of leaves moving in the gentle breeze upon this day.

Gaming couldn't really stand the silence so he opened his mouth before speaking, "Soo.. you dont seem to be from Liyue?" his question only earned a shaken head as a 'no' from the pale-blonde boy. Freminet shifted his gaze around, avoiding eye contact as the silence was quite.. uncomfortable. Freminet managed to pull out Pers(his emotional support penguin) out of nowhere and held it for a bit before looking back at Gaming, noticing he seemed interested in the 'toy' but stayed silent about it. The silence continued until a sudden thud was heard in the distance. Freminet almost dropped Pers from the sudden sound that startled him. Gaming tensed up from the sudden sound, his eyes wide as he snapped his gaze towards the direction of the sound. Freminet too, was quite tense before quickly putting Pers away as he glanced towards the direction of the sound that came out of nowhere.

A pair of two purple-coloured eyes glowed in the shadows between the trees.. sounds of footsteps approaching the two of them.
