Jake comes home later than what he said he would and Devon blows up at him for worrying him.

Devon's Pov:

He should have been home by now. Where is he?! I've been calling his phone for the past 4 hours but he's not answering.

I call his phone again...

I hope he's okay. He said he'd be home at 9pm and it's 2am right now! He didn't call or say he'd be late or anything like that.

I'm freaking worried out of my shoes. Anything could have happened to him in these past five hours...

Just as I was about to grab my coat and go out and find him, I heard a key rattling in the our apartment door.

It was him.

And this is how our screaming match started.

Third Person Pov:

"Devon it's not a big deal! I'm here now so can you just calm down?!", Jake begs.

"Do you know how fucking worried I was, sitting here waiting for you like I'm some fucking dog waiting for their owner?! I thought you got caught up in something or better yet, died! You could have called me or gave me a fucking tip that you were gonna be fucking late!", Devon puts out with tears streaming down his face.

"Devon I'm sorry, my phone died. If my phone hadn't died, I would have called you hours ago, so can we just drop this?!”, Jake pleaded in exhaustion from his long shift at work.

Devon plops down on the couch , putting his head into his hands letting his tears of worry fall.

"Jake, you don't know how worried I was about you", he mutters out.

Jake inches closer to Devon sitting down beside him and hugging him.

"I'm so sorry baby, I didn't mean to make you feel like this, I'll let you know next time I swear, I'm sorry babyboy", Jake apologises cupping Devon's cheek wiping the falling tears on his boyfriend's face.

"And I'm sorry for lashing out on you. I was just stressed.", Devon exposes.

"I know baby, it's okay. Let's just go to bed, okay?"

"Okay baby let's go.."
