And I was there,
Waiting for you to remember me,
Remember what we did,
What we said,
And what we planned but never did.

I'm still here,
Waiting for you to come and explain,
Why you left me even after all I did.

You know better than me that I never deserved this;
You broke me, as my soul,
Because my love for you was born here:

Not for your body,
Not for your decisions,
Not even for your money.

I fell for your lies,
For your beautiful lies.

"I would never leave you" you said,
But you did.

As I said,
"I would never fall in love"
But I did,
Breaking my own heart and soul.

And I'm here,
Waiting for you to realise,
That you destroyed even more,
something that was already broken.

I just asked to be heard,
But you never did.
You just left me,
When I was at the worst.

You just left me,
Even after all you said,
Even knowing what this would have done to me
Even knowing that I would fell apart.

You did,
So you did it just for the fun,
Of breaking a poor soul,
That just tried to love you.

Breaking a good heart,
At his worst moment in life...

Beautiful lies,
And a broken soul.
Two happy and lively eyes,
Just turned more cold than ice.
