8:00 am - New Canada, Earth
I was awaken by the repetitive buzzing of the daily wake up call. Getting up, I quickly got dressed for work.
I walked into the kitchen unit to consume my morning nutrient packets, despite still being in an exhausted state. I trudged towards the front door, pulling on a dull gray coat in the process. After making my way through the door, I pushed passed the crowd of familiar faces surrounding the public hover port.
Another frantic day, I thought as I hopped onto the deck of an over-crowded hover pod headed towards office building B.

11:55 am - New Canada, Earth
(Inside the office)
All of a sudden, I heard screaming. As I reluctantly peered out of the office door, the stench of burning soon stung my nostrils as I inhaled. There was smoke everywhere. My eyes frantically scanned the surrounding scene in horror. People were on the ground. Children were crying. I cringed when I saw several familiar faces nearby; unmoving, and paralyzed with fear. Some were people I barely knew, but had seen everyday by the hover ports. Shaking madly, I slowly managed to make my way towards the back entrance of the office building.
That's when I saw them. There were very tall men standing outside. They didn't look like ordinary people. I averted my gaze to something dangling from their belts.
Wait. Were those bones?
I also noticed that they had the same basic facial features: piercing eyes, long noses, and sharp, pointed chins. One of them caught sight of me, and I froze.  The three men began closing in on me. They took me away,  and somehow trapped me inside a glass-like bubble which appeared to be suspended in air.

"Impossible," I told myself.

"Very impossible," an unfamiliar voice replied.

Where did that come from?

"Who's there?" I got no reply this time.
Suddenly, misty white fog appeared inside the bubble, clouding my senses. My eyes became heavy as I slowly drifted off into a deep sleep.
