"Welcome back to my apartment, Amelia," "Thank you, again Logs for letting me stay here until I find an apartment of my own," "We are family, Millie, you are always welcome to stay here for as long as you need," Logan said as he led her to his guest room where she usually stays when she visits, "I will leave you to get settled in, I will come get you when the food arrives."
Amelia stood in the familiar room in which she stayed at all the times she had visited my Logan. She was not expecting to be moving back to the UK so soon but she did not want to return to in the states right now. She wanted to be in the place she had the most fun the place where she did not have to tell anyone about the events the previous night in Indianapolis.
Amelia took her phone charger out her backpack to charge her phone that has been long dead. Once her phone finally turned on, all the notifications came flooding in and that included texts and calls from David. She deleted any notification from David and replied to the ones from her manager, Rachael and her siblings. Sgrbthen laid down on the bed and thought back to the past 8 years with David. Not that long ago she thought he was going to be the guy Ishe would be with for the rest of my life but now she is sitting in her cousin, Logan's apartment in the UK the day after breaking up with him.
"Food is here Millie, come on I got your favorite," Logan said after knocking on the open door, "Also I invited Oscar and Lily over," she got up as she had not seen her friends in months, "Do I look like I have been crying?" "A little but I already told them up that you and Malukas are done," she followed him out of the room and into the sitting area.
"How are you feeling Millie?" Lily askeed before pulling her into a hug, "Like I wasted 8 years of my life on a guy and that I should of lived my teen years to the fullest," "You did not you were in love and you were both always off racing so you never had a normal relationship and when you finally did it was not your normal, right Logan?" "She is right Millie, now here eat up and then we can delete all those pictures from your instagram of the two of you and have a fresh start to your feed," Logan said handing her the food he specifically got for her.
After hours of talking and after deleting the picture of Amelia and David from her instagram, Oscar and Lily left. She knew that once the fans noticed that they were all gone and that she had unfollowed him they were going to start asking stuff and spreading rumors about their relationship.
The next few days she spent them locked up in Logan's apartment until he came into her room and told that they will be going out that night because he did not want to see her be sad about a guy.
Amelia got out the shower and put on some nice clothes then fixed her hair before walking out the bathroom and into her room. She grabbed her bag and walked out of her room to see Logan also leaving his own room.
"So where are we going Logs?" "Out," "Out where?" "A party one of my friend's is hosting. Now come on let's go buddy," He said before dragging her out the door and down to the garage level and getting into his car.
"I know you are still trying to move on and that it will take a long time but I do not want you to be locked up. If anything it is his lost because you were always there with him when possible and he never was. You will find someone that appreciates and supports you," she thought about what he said maybe she did dodge a bullet.

*February, 2023*
"Bye Millie and Logan, good luck," Benjamin, Sophia, Olivia, and Dalton said as they had us in a group hug before Amelia's parents, uncle, and aunt pulled the paid of drivers into individual hugs before they boarded their plane to Bahrain. They were in Fort Lauderdale for the holidays and came back for the last few days before pre-season testing and now they are off and ready to start the new F1 season.
"Ready for your second season in F1?" "Of course I am I have been waiting for this happen since after my first in 2018 but what about you? This is your first season," "I am ready, mainly with having my little cousin with me on the grid," "I'm only younger by two hours," "We were born in two different years, Millie?" "Yeah, maybe because you were born on new year's eve and I was born on new year's day," she said as the plane took off.
In the past few months she had managed to move on from David even if it was hard mainly after spending so long dating but it was for the best. Logan, Oscar, and Lily were a great help and also were her family. She had never thought that her and David would ever break up. They had planned out their futures together. Shortly after they broke up he started dating someone else and it made her second guess if he really did love her.
"I still hate that you moved out my apartment," "Dude I live across the hall unlike last time where I did live further away," "Still too far, I need to make sure you are safe at all times because you are the only family I have close by," "If anything happens I will call you," she said as we continued to talk to each other throughout the flight.
