Chapter 2: Good Old Pals

Phill was writing important documents on his laptop on another gloomy yet sad day. Suddenly someone opened the door.."Hey Sugar~" Said Jane with a teasing look on her face. Phill was quite flustered by Jane's greeting but soon greeted her back "Hey J-Jane!" Jane and Phill then talk for a while until Kate walks into the office. "Hey everybody! Got any mysteries to solve?" Kate said very excited about a new crime to solve "Well yes Kate, we have a new report from an old.." friend" of mine.." Phill said with a sad expression on his face, Suddenly a huge burst came out from the window, "WHAT'S UP GUYS-" Alex said while wearing a pink unicorn shirt "Hey...Alex?" said Phill confused about why Alex was wearing a pink unicorn shirt "Well someone looks excited." Said Jane, "So, what's the case?" Questioned Alex, "Well like I was going to say before, We got a report from an old " friend" of mine...Anyways! We are planning to investigate an abandoned cafe shop that is up for sale, but there have been reports of a mysterious figure lurking around the premises. Alright team, Let's get going!" They soon go to the place and meet Phill's old "friend. "Okay everybody, I would like you guys to meet the owner of this cafe and my " friend"...Jackson Freddy" Meet Jackson Freddy, a 30-year-old man who exudes confidence with his tall and sturdy frame. His striking brown hair and eyes give him a charming and approachable vibe. He is always impeccably dressed in a long coat that adds an air of sophistication to his appearance. His black pants and shoes complete his look, making him stand out in any crowd. Phill was annoyed to see his old buddy "Hello! What a pleasure to meet you guys! Alex, Kate and...Ms Beautiful?~" Jackson said flirting with Jane, "And- Okay gang let's get to investigating!" Phill was a little jealous of Jackson flirting with Jane.  They soon get to investigate the cafe. Dust, spider webs, and trash can be seen in some parts of the cafeteria, "Ew! There's spider webs all over the place! And the floors are so dirty, I don't want my expensive heels to get dirty" Jane said grossed out "Don't worry about that ms beautiful, I'm sure we can fix this~" Jackson said placing a clean mat on the floor so Jane's heels won't get dirty, "Well I could've done that first." Phill mumbles, secretly jealous of Jackson flirting with Jane "Aw~ Is someone a little jealous~?" Alex and Kate said with a smirk on their face, Phill sighed and proceeded to say "Fine. I'm jealous! Jackson is stealing Jane, My Jane..." Kate then reassures Phill by saying "Aw! Well, don't worry I'm sure Jackson is just teasing you!" Kate laughs at Phill's jealousy. Jane looks over at the gang seeing Kate and Phill chatting together and laughing happily, "What's is Kate doing with Phill? My Phill.." Jane thinks to herself a little jealous. They soon find more clues and find a note, the note has a little bit of dust in it. "Well team, looks like we found a note!"  Said Phill happy because they finally found a clue. They then read the note, the note reads "If you are reading this, I just want to say something. Whatever you do, DO NOT SELL THIS CAFE..or else.." The handwriting looks like it's made from blood "This is scary. I want my dad!-" Said Alex scared "It's okay going to be okay Alex! Now since we have this clue we need someone who can speak to ghosts, and I know that someone."  Phill said then called Luna to go to the abandoned cafe. Later Luna arrived and talked to Phill and the rest "So ghost huh? You've called the right person. And who is this, tall ugly man." Luna said while making fun of Jackson. "Oh yeah! Jackson meet Luna, Luna meet Jackson." They stare at each other embarrassingly, "Anyways Luna! go do your thing please- I don't want to get myself killed-" Alex said still frightened by the bloody note. Soon Luna talks to the ghost, "Hello." Luna said talking to the ghost of a little girl "H-hello..." Said the little girl "My friend here, wants to sell this cafe but can't because you're haunting it." "Sorry. I just don't want the cafe to be sold, because..this used to be my home..my place, to rest! from all the mean and rude people...-" The girl says trying not to cry "I understand..but I have one more question, where is your body? Me and my friends want to take you to a safer place, a magical place..where's calming and you can rest, and play whenever you want!" Luna said, reassuring the little ghost girl "Really-? Well it's hidden in that room..I didn't know what to do back when I-I was alive..so I just starved to death..." the girl said sniffing quietly "Hey- hey! It's going to be okay kid..trust me you're going to be in a better place." Luna reassures her and then they investigate the room, they find the kid's body and bury it. "Well, Thanks again Luna for your help!" Phill said to Luna for her help, "No problem old guy" Luna said then laughed, "And Jackson. you can clean this cafe yourself" Phill said still jealous of how Jackson flirted with Jane "What?! Aw come on" Jackson then starts cleaning some of the parts of the cafe that are dirty. "Anyways, well team we can say that this case. is closed!" "Not yet!" Said Alex "What? Is there something I missed?" Phill replied confused, "We still need to go to my dad's barbershop to crack the case...Who will help clean up my dad's barbershop!" Alex said while the others laughed. They then help Alex and his dad clean the shop.
