Ruby loved the colour red. Or as she liked to think about it, she hated every other colour more. Red was the colour of her blood, lipstick and electric guitar; It was perfectly meant to be.

When you first walk into her bedroom, once you muster the strength to haul your legs over the mountains of clothes, Ruby's room slightly resembles TLC's "My Color, My Obsession" shows.

Every day, since she could remember, she woke up at 7:11 AM, and got dressed in either head-to-toe red or something that resembled those colours. Then, he would go get her breakfast and wait for the others to stay up.

But today was different, as Ruby was getting her breakfast, she felt an earthquake. Or at least that's what she thought she felt. She read it in books but never in her life didn't she think she would have felt an earthquake. It woke up her siblings too and they try to such to find their tunnels unharmed, except for photographs. To Kai's anger, if continued on for another 2 miles, the earthquake had rumbled the shelves enough that the entrance to continue had been completely blocked.

Ivy was the first to speak.

"We can get through this," she said with such conviction Ruby might have believed her. The key word is might.

"Yeah Kai," Xavier said while rubbing his brother's back "We have the Hulk, we can get this done" What an Xavier move, Ruby thought, to add laughter to cries.

"Yeah, Kai these wales are nothing compared to my 200-pound deadlifts" Zeke mentioned, trying his best to not sound forced, even though it 100% sounded forced.

"I guess so, but" Kai was at a loss for words. The But carried around with the group as they continued to inventory and go along their way until 3:00 pm when we heard a scream.

As a safety measure, Mara and Ben had put in speaker intercoms in each study and common room so that communication could be easier.

"GUYS!!!" Kai screamed over the intercom.

All 3 of their heads perked up from their work and SPRINTED to Kai's room.

"What's" Breathe "What's wrong," Ivy asked, breathless

"I was sifting through the rubble, trying to make sense of all this brick when I saw them," Kai said pointing towards two bodies

"Jesus Christ" Ruby swore under her breath.

There lay a boy and girl, approximately the age of the 5, unconscious with rust, dust, rumble and blood oozing everywhere. As they lay stretched out on the floor, the 5 of them looked towards the pair.

"Well we can't them just lay there unconscious," Ivy said, always the voice of reasoning

"She is right," Zeke pointed out "C'mon Xavier, help me move them to the kitchen"

As Zeke approached the pair, taking their legs to carry them to the kitchen, the girl's eye opened up and before anybody could say anything, she latched onto Zeke.

All hell brook loose.
