"Alright, I think that is it for today's meeting–" She paused abruptly, "Does anyone have any questions?"
The students slowly shook their hands and she smiled. "Okay– then, we are dismissed," She clipped the pile of meeting notes into her folder and shoved it into her bag as the people left the room. She zipped it and slung it across the shoulders.
"You really are a weird person, Ha-rin," An amused male voice said from behind, startling her.
Said girl turned around in surprise, "What are you still doing here?" She cleared her throat and added a little politely, "Jungwon," Despite their two years age difference, he was two grades below her, having skipped a level in their highschool entrance exam. It was her last year.
"Gee, nice to see you too," he replied, mocked. "Anyways, back to what I was saying, how do you seriously cope with everything," He got up from his slumped position and walked behind her as they exited the meeting room. "You know, being in the student body and all,"
"I guess when you are forced to cope, then you just have to do it," Ha-rin answered in a soft voice. "What are you still doing here? Aren't you always rushing off with your friend- what's his name? Ni-ki? And um,"
"Heeseung? Yeah, they are at the school team basketball meet now," Jungwon jumped in, "so I'm all alone,"
Ha-rin raised an eyebrow and blew out a breath of disbelief. "Please, you are more popular to be only having to stick with two friends,"
"Being popular doesn't mean having real friends, you know that right?" Jungwon shot back jokingly. "And also before I forget, we're having a transfer student tomorrow and Mrs. Han asked me to tell you to make sure he is settled in alright."
"Oh, from where?"
"Australia," Jungwon said eagerly. "Yeah, but his parents are Korean, so he's fine, he moved there a while ago when he was younger, I think he moved back cause' of his father's business, growing and all," he rambled.
Ha-rin hummed as she stared at the younger boy with curiosity. "And you know so much about him... because?"
"I'm actually a stalker," Jungwon said, with a dimpled smile.
Ha-rin snickered then recomposed, "I'm serious,"
Jungwon scratched his head. "Um, he's been friends with Heeseung since they were kids. They're still friends I think, even after he moved, we have a chat," he added, unnecessarily. "Oh, and Jay,"
"You mean the American?" Ha-rin confirmed with an eyebrow raised.
Jungwon hummed in an agreement as they reached the entrance of the school.
"He is...?"
"Sim Jaeyun, but we call him Jake,"
"Jake," Ha-rin repeated under her breath.
AUTHOR'S NOTE
So that is not an actual chapter, an actual chapter will probably be longer than THAT. It's just like a filler cos I feel like if I just start with the actual plot it wouldn't be nice saur we have Jungwon out now with Ha-rin. Chapter 1 will be out soon!Do vote as it helps me know if people actually like the story and I will continue writing <3
I'm still on a break so writing will be easier but when school starts it will be much harder.Stay safe and thank youuu <3
