The echo of clanging metal against groaning bodies faded as Inspector Ravi Rathore exited the BBSR railway station. Dusting off his uniform, a satisfied smirk tugged at his lips. Those goons wouldn't be causing any more trouble.

But a new wrinkle creased his brow as he thought about the masked man fighting alongside Y/N. The way he moved, controlled and precise, screamed trained fighter, not your average tourist but as y/n said celebrity ? Who's that celebrity...?! He was now curious and there were something which y/n was hiding he was all aware of it.

"Ravi!" A familiar voice cut through his musings. Looking up, he saw his junior officer, Ashok, approaching.

"All settled with the goons, sir?" Ashok asked, wiping sweat from his brow.

Ravi nodded curtly. "For now. Though…btw find out who did this mess ?"

Ashok shook his head, confusion clouding his features. "Yes sir our team is on duty..."
His phone buzzed, cutting their conversation short. A grimace flickered across Ravi's face as he saw the caller ID. "Duty calls," he sighed. "Finish processing the goons, Ashok. I'll catch up later."

Flagging down an auto, Ravi rattled off an address to the driver. "Police business," he explained to Ashok, more to himself than the officer.

The auto came to a halt in front of a familiar house. Stepping out, Ravi felt a pang of nostalgia. Home. But the warmth dissipated as he saw his mother chatting animatedly with a young woman whose back was turned to him. Still, the voice that reached him sent a jolt through him.

"Don't worry, Aunty," the woman's voice, vibrant and familiar, rang out. "I'll handle Ravi. He can't escape his old friend that easily."

Ravi's breath hitched. "Misha?" he blurted out, his voice laced with surprise.

The woman turned around, a mischievous grin spreading across her face. "The one and only, Inspector Rathore," she chirped. "Looks like we have a lot to catch up on."

Ravi stood speechless, his mind reeling. Misha, his college best friend, standing in his living room.

"Misha oh god....what a surprise...!!!" Ravi repeated, the surprise barely muffled. Her sudden appearance here, in his childhood home, after years of lost touch, was a punch to the gut.

"Surprise!" Misha exclaimed, her arms wide for a hug.

"Hold on," he finally managed, stepping back. "What are you doing here?"

Misha's grin faltered slightly at Ravi's question. The surprise visit, the convenient timing - it all felt a little too orchestrated. But before she could answer, his mother's warm voice cut through the tension.

"Oh, Ravi! It's so good to see Misha again. Come in, come in, dear. I was just telling her about your promotion."

Misha plastered a winning smile on her face for Mrs. Rathore's benefit. "Promotions and all? Sounds like someone's been busy climbing the ranks, Inspector Rathore."

Ravi sighed, ushering them both inside. "Busy enough," he muttered, the image of Y/N and the masked hero flashing in his mind. "Look, Misha, if this is a social call—"

"Actually," Misha interjected, her voice dropping to a low murmur, "it's not. There's something important I need to discuss with you, but…" she cast a pointed look at his mother bustling around the kitchen, "not exactly in front of an audience."
