HI! Guess what? Wattapad deleted my fanfiction! Why? I have no clue. Apparently, I violated guidelines, but they didn't say what guidelines, so honestly, screw that.

This story is still a work in process. I write as I go and try to keep a regular update schedule (around one update a week, most likely in the weekend). As of now, I'm in my summer holidays, which means the release of new chapters won't break away from the usual update schedule too much (no promises, though).

This is an OC x Idol AU (the OC will show up later in the story).

WARNING:

This work contains strong language, such as cursing, so if you're underage or simply not found of that, don't read my book.

This book may contain explicit descriptions of violent scenes (it can fall into that category, I suppose), so, again, if you're not a fan of that type of content or a minor, do not read this fanfiction.

If it wasn't for her and Eric, I wouldn't be writing about NCT Dream since I wouldn't be a NCTzen in the first place (and for that, I thank them, I would be missing out on a lot of good music and content).

@ aishi (I really need to ask her what her username is), who also helped me with editing my book, as well as figuring some characters out (for example, Renjun). She was always there to hear me rant about them and my story, not to mention, make great additions.

Rand0m1Person, who put up with me the whole time. Despite her bullying me for making her read all of my drafts and rate them before posting them and also not being a part of the K-pop fandom, she has helped me greatly throughout the whole process of shaping my work.

Now that we're done with the heavy stuff, it's time to explain my story lightly, in case you didn't read the description:

This story is a throwback to when the Dreamies were in their late teens (for reference, Mark is eighteen and Jisung is fifteen in this timeline; the rest of the Dreamies are in between, the vast majority being seventeen).

From one day to another, a dangerous parasite breaks out, which leads to an international emergency and consequentially the quarantine of NCITY. All the Dreamies are caught up in this less but pleasing situation, and many are separated from their family members.

After struggling for around two months,  the Dreamies, previously friends, reunite and join forces. They aim to leave the city one day and go back to their normal lives.

A few shelters later, Dream find themselves looking for a new place to call home.
