Dream had scattered to find a shelter, their last one being overrun by zombies, and Renjun found himself wandering around an unknown part of the city. It was rather... clean compared to other areas of NCITY since there weren't many pools of decomposing bodies of those who didn't survive attacks of zombies, dried blood stains, or the scent of putrefaction.

He looked up to the sky, absent of clouds, and covered the bright, blinding sun with his left hand. His little group had split the second light shone down the streets, and with narrowed eyes, he lowered his hand and eyed the angry ball of light. Renjun guessed it was around 11am by then, given the position the sun had taken in the sky.

He rubbed his eyes that were now hurting due to the sun's dazzling luminance and sighed.

He wandered around, a bit surprised to have stumbled into such a pristine part of town so early on, but Renjun was fast to stop his tracks once he found a nice-looking building further ahead, dropping his train of thought. Dashing into its direction, Renjun ran as if his life depended on reaching the building, and once he finally got to it, he was panting.

Swiping a drop of sweat off his temple and swung his baseball bat over his shoulder, taking a deep breath. He eyed the building up and down, noticing it had three floors and that it was most likely that it had been abandoned before the virus had spread. Well, maybe not abandoned, but it surely wasn't habitated when it struck. Renjun took a few steps back before dashing towards the door and kicking it open, causing it to fall onto the ground with a loud thud. His immediate reaction was to look around, afraid the noise could have attracted nearby zombies or worse gangs, but seeing as the street remained silent, he sighed with relief. Renjun looked back to where the door was attached before. "Damn." He raised his eyebrows, a bit shocked since he didn't believe he would be able to open it that way, let alone knock it off its hinges.

Renjun kneeled down and inspected the door, seeing that the lock and hinges had rusted. He glided a finger over one of them, feeling the rugged texture of the oxidised steal. "That might be a problem..." Renjun whispered to himself, wondering if all the doors and even windows were in this state before getting up and dusting his pants off. He cracked his neck and stepped deeper inside the building, but he came to a halt once he heard steps from outside.

He was quick to peek out, his serious expression softening ever so slightly the second he laid his eyes on Dream. He swung his bat over his shoulder once again and walked over to them, momentarily forgeting about his recent discovery. The closer he got, the more he could read his friends' expressions. They all seemed to show some kind of disappointment, which only led Renjun to think they had not been successful in finding a proper shelter. The only posite thing he could see was that the eldest had a backpack, seemingly full, in his hand.

"Nothing good. But Mark found a bit of food." Said Donghyuck, eyebrows stitched together with while walking towards Renjun body language exuding fury. "You were so hard to find, too." Renjun only rolled his eyes. In the five years he had known Hyuck, he had learned both were very similar when it came to anger, so he just let the boy be.

"I found this nice-looking building. The entrance door was rusted, and it fell off its hinges. I haven't checked the whole place yet, so I don't know if that is the case with all the other doors or windows." Renjun said, pointing towards the building, and Chenle shrugs, "We could go over it for a bit, and once it starts getting dark, we'll camp there. It's not like we have any other place to stay." He said, and the rest nodded, humming in agreement.

Mark threw the backpack over his shoulder and began to walk in the direction of the building, everyone following his move. He stepped inside with heavy feet.
