Lily woke to the sound of her phone vibrating. Somehow it was only 10:45pm she felt like she had been asleep for hours.
"Hello?" Lily croaked into the phone as she pushed hair out of her face.
"I have been stood outside your front door for over an hour now. You said we could go see to that concert on the beach," the other voice mumbled angrily.
"Oh! Crud I am so sorry Thomas. Give me a minu..."
"We're you asleep?! Did you forget?!" Thomas asked surprisingly. Usually Lily never forgets things. Especially when they are promises.
"No. I just lost track of time," she yawned. Lily pulled on a pair of skinny jeans and an old t-shirt.

- 4 and a half hours later -
"Thanks for walking me home," Lily waved as she let herself into the house. She sat down on the sofa and laid down. She opened her phone to find 4 messages from Jason. Instead of texting him back, she called him. After 3 attempts she gave up. She turned off the lights and started up the stairs when there was a loud knock at the door. Lily turned around opened the door, Jason abruptly barged in with no warning whatsoever.
"Where is he?" He demanded. His tone frightened Lily.
"Who?" Lily asked, she was completely innocent. She had no idea what was happening.
"You know who. Theo told me. He sent me pictures of you two at a concert together." Jason said lifting up his phone to show the photos.
"Jason, its three in the morning. can we not?" Lily was rudely interrupted. Jason shoved her against the wall.
"Listen, bitch, if you've been messing me about and cheating on me with scraggy four eyes across the road I'm gonna kill him." His every word stunk of alcohol. Lily wriggled out of his grip just at the same time her dad came down stairs.
"I think you better leave, Jason," her dad said half asleep but fully aware of the situation.
"Your daughters a skank!" Jason shouted as he slammed the door. Lily ran into her fathers embrace and held him tight. She began to cry, but quietly so no one could hear her sobs. There was another knock at the door. Lily's dad opened the door.
"it's Thomas," lily wiped the tears from her face.
"Let him in," Thomas came in and walked Lily up to her room.
