the days passed like a speed of light

I eat

I sleep

I go to school

repeat

"Hey.." Somebody called my attention

"..." A senior is approaching me from behind

"You are Lexa, right?" A guy senior was asking for my name, and why does he know me.

"Yes, I am Lexa." I nod with a confused look

"uhmm, okay, we're trying to find a representative of our school for a pageant." he smiles at me like he knows I'm going to agree.

"ahhh~~~I do modelling, but not pageants. Sorry, " I answered

"But -"

"pageants for schools are for those people who have money, I don't have it, sir..." That's reality that pageant thing, I won't compete with those rich kids from other schools

"I see. I know what you're talking about, but can you at least just try?..."

his eyes full of desires to cast me as the representative

I also wanted to try, but it's just that I know I would lose instantly because of that ticket vote thing

"Give me time to think...." He smiles, and and leaves a piece of paper on the table

"bye byeee thank you." I checked the paper, and his number was written on it

"Alex..." I've known him by the face, so his name is Alex

"Lexa!" Tine pops out of nowhere

she has been one of my closest friends since the start of my school year in junior high school till now we're on our last year on junior high

I smiled at her but didn't say any word

I'm still thinking of how to make a move with that Ryu

yeah, I'm crazy bro

I think that's the first time that I am challenged, making a move to a person

though usually people do the first move on me

"You look so stressed.." she sat beside me on and grabs the paper Alex gave

"ohh~~". "Another day, another one man down," she teased

"it's not like that," I answered

she looks at me. "So what's with this phone number?"

"ahhh, he asks if I want to be the representative,"

"You don't want to join?"

I grab the paper and put it on my pocket

"I actually don't know, I do, but winning that is about money."

Tine smiled

"Why are you thinking like that? Just try it. If you lose because of money, then be it. At least you try, " she taps my shoulders

"Does it make sense? that I'll still try even though I know I'm going to lose?"

"Are you sure that you're going to lose?" She makes a quirky face showing that she still thinks I have the chance
