it's been a week, and I didn't hear anything from Ryu she asked me if she could walk me home every day, and is she ghosting me? the pageant/competition is near, is she changing her mind asnwering me?

all those thoughts are circulating into my mind , I couldn't sleep and eat already.

I'm scared that she might disappear, but I'm also scared to chat with her because I'm not ready for what she's going to say if ever.

I'm also thinking something bad happened to her, plss noooo. I hope she's safe.

I don't have any projects on modelling, so I don't know how would I know she's okay

I hope you're okay

I miss you

D-day of the pageant, and I feel so down

I still did my best, but I'm sad at how can Ryu miss everything, I'm standing in front of the crowd smiling while I'm only thinking about her

it's time to announce the winners through ticket votes. I know already that I will lose, even though Ryu is here, I can't still win, I guess that's why she dissappear.

"Lexa Dela Cruz!!!" I suddenly hear my name was called by the host, I was confused. I can hear the crowd screaming, but I can only see the light coming from the audience

"You won," a candidate from my left taps my shoulders and smile, I look at the screen, and yes, I won

I am happy I won

I won, but the purpose of why I wanted to win is not in here

How can I ask her

after the awarding, I slowly walked down the stage, and a staff member approached me

"Congratulations, I'm rooting for you ma'am from the start, but your votes aren't that high. Thankfully, your friend is rich. You deserve to win ma'am," and the staff gave me a bouquet of flowers

"Thank you, but what do you mean, rich friend?" I asked

"ohh, that girl who bought all your tickets and asked me to give you the flowers she might be near som-" I immediately walks towards the girl

I think it was Ryu

"Ryu!" The girl stops and faces me, and it is Ryu

"Where have you been?" She looks so tired and exhausted

"..." I step closer to her

"Congratulatio-" I didn't let her finish her words, I hugged her tight

"Why didn't you reply, I got nervous because you weren't getting in touch.

"I need to make sure that you will win," she answered in a very confusing answer, but I didn't care

As I held Ryu tightly in my arms, a wave of relief washed over me, dissolving the worries that had plagued me for the past week. Hearing Ryu's explanation, I felt a rush of gratitude and love.

"I'm sorry, Lexa," Ryu murmured against my shoulder. "I wanted to surprise you, to support you in a way I knew I could. I've been working extra shifts to save up for those tickets to make sure you had every chance to win."

Tears filled my eyes as Ryu's words sank in. "You did all that for me?" I whispered, my voice choked with emotion.

Ryu nodded, her eyes meeting mine with a soft smile. "I wanted to show you Lexa. I wanted to support you. "
