Kai watched as Borg Tower crumbled to the ground. He'd met with his sister and joined her group of people still walking toward the rendezvous.
"Gosh, they were right!"
"Good thing we can trust the ninja to get out out of harms way like that."
Kai felt one of his kids grab his leg tightly. He leaned down and picked them up, popping them on his hip. "Easy Kyle."
"I'm scared." The small boys voice quivered.
"It's okay to be scared. Just stick with me and I'll keep you safe, okay?" Kai changed the boys position and held him tight.
"What about Nebby?"
"She's with your uncles, they'll keep her safe until we meet up with them. Yeah?"
Kyle nodded. "Yeah. They wouldn't let her get hurt."
A different dragon came down toward the group. A smile crossed Kais lips.
"Mommy!" Phoenix pointed at the dragon.
"It sure is." Kai confirmed.
The dragon landed and two kids hopped off.
"Raven! Carnie!" Phoenix shouted running to the two.
Kai smiled as his daughter ran to the two. Even with the end of the world right here, she kept her happy spirit.
"Hey."
"Hey, Hun." Kai adjusted Kyle again and gave his wife a quick peck on the lips. "Thanks for getting those two. I know Cole and Jay appreciate it."
"Yeah, well, what kind of hero leaves two kids alone like that?"
"Especially when they're still not super good with their Airjitzu." Nya added softly.
"We didn't learn it in a day. Raven and Carnelian still have a bit to go. It could be harder without the elemental power linked to them. And unless Lightning and Earth split again, someone's gonna be left out."
"It could happen. Speed, Nature, and Sound all came from the same generation thousands of years ago. At least, according to Krux. Let's hope Fire and Amber can split, or one of ours will also be left out."
"Sky. He's right here." Kai motioned to his son.
"What are we talking about, Kyle?" Skylor asked her son quietly.
"Uhm, beans? Lentil beans." Kyle said confidently.
"Lentil, is young child code word for 'elemental'." Kai pointed out.
"What's 'beans' code for?" Skylor chuckled softly.
"Well, uh... " He looked at his son who just shrugged his shoulders.
"Soup?" Kyle said.
Kai snickered. "I think Jay's beginning to run off on you."
"That wouldn't be so bad." Nya nudged Kai's side.
"Every team needs someone with that PMA." Skylor picked up Phoenix as the girl tugged gently on her shirt. "Hi sweetie."
"With all the kids our group has, ya know, 10 for now, waiting on Jay to pop that news again. There's two of them at least."
"Is it really 10?" Nya asked.
"Yeah. You've got our three, Kyle, Nebula, and Phoenix. Then Pixal and Zanes little droid, Cache. Jay and Cole's four, Robin, Jasper, Raven, and Carnelian. Then Acronix and Borgs daughter, Hirosha." Kai paused and counted on his fingers. "No, that's only 9. It feels like way more than it is though."
