The next morning greeted them with soft rays of sunlight filtering through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the room. Kentrell stirred from his slumber, his eyes fluttering open to the unfamiliar surroundings. As the events of the previous night flooded back into his mind, he glanced beside him, finding Naomi still peacefully asleep.

Her delicate features softened by sleep, Naomi looked ethereal in the morning light. Kentrell couldn't help but admire her, a sense of protectiveness washing over him. He carefully shifted in the bed, not wanting to disturb her peaceful rest.

Naomi stirred slightly, her eyelids fluttering as she began to wake. A soft smile tugged at her lips as she remembered the events of the previous night, the good ones. Naomi woke up to heavy arms around her. Her body was warm from the heat both of their bodies were producing. She grabbed his arm, attempting to lift it up but he didn't budge, his grip tightening around her waist.

"Hm," Kentrell hummed softly, his voice carrying a hint of warmth. "Mm," Naomi replied back with a hum, her voice still laced with sleep. She stretched gently, feeling a sense of comfort in the moment.

"Skilla is going to kill you if you don't have me home in the next ten minutes." Naomi said after she picked her phone up to see ten messages, it was already noon.

They laid there for a moment, basking in the quiet tranquility of the morning. The events of the previous night lingered between them. But before anyone could say anything, the dorm room busted open.

"Oh wait, let me call you back." Lena hung the phone up staring between the two.

"Should I leave? Come back later?" She said but Kentrell removed his arm off of Naomi, allowing her to get up. "No, you are fine." Naomi said while giving her best friend the look.

As Lena lingered in the doorway, a palpable tension hung in the air between Naomi and Kentrell. Despite their attempts to appear nonchalant, there was an unspoken exchange of glances, a silent conversation. Naomi, felt the weight of the moment and cleared her throat, breaking the uneasy silence. "What's up?" she asked, attempting to divert attention away from the charged atmosphere.
