Chapter 2

Mya Rose POV

To be honest my day was going pretty great so far. For the exception of hearing Rain talking about me this morning and our conversation after that. I was really trying to be nice to her, but she's always so bitchy to everyone else and closed off, no wonder she only has one friend. To be honest her brother is kinda cool he's really nice I don't know how they can be so different. While In class with Rain the teacher said something I saw her head go down as she started fidgeting with her ring. She has really nice hand she has long fingers with beautiful nail beds her cuticles pushed down perfectly while her nail were cut and filed down perfectly round.

Woah weird why the fuck am i thinking about her hands!

As I was saying she started to fidget with her rings, I have really bad anxiety and I fidget when I'm anxious so i figured she must be anxious. So when i saw her leave to the bathroom I figured I'd be a nice person and check on her but ofc she just had to ruin it. After she left i talked with Katie.

"Anyways... Rain is so weird and rude but not the point. Alexander is throwing a party tonight do you wanna go, i promise it'll be fun?"Katie ask.
I sat there spaced out think about why Rain acted the way she did towards me what did I ever do to her!

Katie interrupted my thoughts. "Hello Mya are you okay you look anxious?" She asked.

I look up at her and respond "yeah I'm okay although i forgot to take my anxiety meds this morning but I'm okay for the most part."

Katie proceeds to say "Okay just making sure don't forget to take them tomorrow love. So the party?? Yes or no?" She asks again.

"Oh yeah I'll go you know how much I love Alex and i could never miss one of his parties" I say

"Okay that sounds great so I'll meet you there around 8" Katie exclaimed, as she started to walk out the bathroom.

"Okay see you then" i responded as i walked out the bathroom behind her to the lunch room. I saw rain there eating lunch with Mathew they were usually more talkative. Soon enough I looked away and started talking to my sister Valentina, she was a senior. She graduates this year and I graduate next year I'm gonna miss her so much. She's my rock she's very protective over me and the only person that knows how to calm my anxiety and panic attacks. I look up to her so much. I start wrapping up my conversation with Val as I continue the rest of my school day.

It's finally 8th period only one more period then I have to go home and start getting ready for the party. Only god knows how long it gonna take for me to get ready. I start to think to myself; I haven't seen Rain since lunch usually we bump into each other and bicker but i haven't seen her. I pause.

Why am i thinking so much about her I really don't like her. Of course she a beautiful girl, she has hazel eyes that are more on the green side to the point they're are enchanting to look into. She has dark hair almost black with slight curls, she has a good style that works for her and not many people can pull off. She dresses with a hint of masc and fem it balances I don't know how she does it. But that's not the point her personality from what I've seen is shit.

I snap out of my thoughts as the teacher dismisses the class. I decided to just go home early cause my last period class was unimportant. As I'm walking out the school I see Alexander walking in my direction, we've been friends since freshman year.
