Cerie held the door for us to go in. Nova walks next to me.
"I like yo girlfriend, she seems to have good intentions." She said
I smile, "I love her man"
"Have you told her that?"
"No not yet, i don't know if she loves me back."

I hum, "How's your life been recently?"
"Pretty good, I'm talking to someone so." She shrugging while smiling

"This girl named Ziyah, she's a no label."

Cerie comes and hold my hand, dragging me to our table.
We sit down at our table. While I was having a conversation with Nova and Zuri, I noticed that Cerie's leg was bouncing. What she nervous for ?
I put my hand on her thigh and squeeze it. I mouth, "Are you okay?"
She nods. hmm weird
Cerie stands up pulling my chair out. She got on one knee. Hollup
I start to say"Cer-"
"Shhh, listen I'm not proposing yet. But, I am giving a promise. I promise when I give you this ring, I will give you all of me. I promise that I will be there through thick and thin. I promise I'll hold you when your day isn't goin right. I promise I will make you smile. I promise I will make you laugh. I promise that no matter what, we will make it through. And finally, I promise I will love you. I love you Jah'Navi." She said taking a shaky breath.
I few tears pour out my eyes. I grab her face and kiss her with so much passion.
I pull back, "I love you more."
Cerie stands up and pulls me up with her. She hugs me then wipe my tears. She puts the ring on my finger and pecks my lips multiple times.
She looks me in my eyes and says, "Your not hard to love. You're so amazing mama."
I smile and kiss her.
"Igh so we in a public place, infornt of people. So that means no fuckin." Zuri said and Nova laughs
"Right." Lyn says shaking her head. But she got up and came to me, hugging me. "You're really my suh in law ni." she said squealing.
I chuckle and nod.
She goes and sit down. Then my sister comes and hugs me, "You shoulda saw her, she was nervous to ask for my blessing."
I chuckle, "I woulda been nervous too shii. Witcho tall ass."
"Don't get beat infront of yo girlfriend."
"Nigga please." I said mushing her head.
she goes back to her seat. Then ZURI comes up to me. Why cant they just say what they gotta say from where they sitting at?
"Lemme see the ring nigga."
I show her the ring smiling
"Ouu it's real cute. She got it in rose gold and everything."
"Right, she prolly remembered that pink was my favorite color."I said smiling
"So you gon give ha head, strap, or what?"
"I wanna do both but she prolly gon want to do sumn first since it's my graduation. She called today "My day". So most likely."
