"You sure you wanna take that step with her?" Lyn said
I plan on giving a promise ring to Jah'Navi after her graduation. At her dinner to be exact.
"Bro I'm more than sure, I love this girl mane."
"Alright. Don't fuck up or Ima fuck you up, I really like you and Vi together."
"I won't I won't."
"And you better not flake out when it gets too good." She said giving me a knowing look.
"I won't man."
She hums, "Cmon let's get a soda, my treat."
"Oh wow thanks." I said sarcastically
As me and Lyn was talking and this stud walks up to us.
"Excuse me, you're Jah'Navi's girlfriend right?" She asks tilting her head
"Yea, why and how you know"
"I see her post you all over her instagram. But do you know where she at?"
"I do. Who are you though?"
"Im her sister, Nova" (Her picture is in the media, at the top)
"Ohhh, she told me you were coming. She already in line but you can come sit with us."
She nods, "Igh then." She pulls her phone out then she puts it back facing me. "I'm not gon ask if you treat her right cus I already know the answer to that. But in the future, if you hurt her Ima hurt you. That's all I gotta say." She said shrugging.
"Igh Cerie I got our- who this" Lun said looking Nova up and down... not in a mean way though.
"Navi's sister, Nova. Nova this my sister Lyn." I said introducing them.
Nova nods,"Wassam" She act like her sister.
"Hey, you fine"
Nova laughs a little lookin away, "Thanks" she shyer than Navi
"Chill out Lyn, You ain gay remember?" I said being funny.
She hits my shoulder, "You keep on putting my business out there."
Me and Nova laughs. oh yea, we gon be coo fasho
"Igh let's go, we gotta go get our seats." I said turning on our heels.
As we are walking I remember that I'm going to be giving Navi a promise ring... and I'm walking with her sister. I should ask or at least tell her.
When we got to our seats next to Zuri and Niyah. Nova recognizes Zuri and they hug, but when she got to Niyah she just nodded. Navi must have told Nova about her weird ass.
"She weird asshit yo." Nova said sitting down next to me.
"Right, I gotta ask you sumn."
"Whats up?"
"I wanted to get your blessing. No, I'm not proposing yet. But, I am gonna give her a promise ring. So I just wanna get a blessing from you." I said nervously tapping my foot.
She looks at me then at my leg. She points to it, "Chill out, there ain't no need to be nervous. But yes you have my blessing. Like I said earlier though, fuck around and find out."
I sigh and smile, "Alright"
"When you're gonna do it?"
"At her dinner."
