"What kind of quirk is this?" one cop asked.

"I don't know, these markings are just something else" the second cop said. Artemis watches from the shadows created by some tall trees surrounding a clearing where the three bodies, the police, and Ronan were.

The hero that was killed, she wasn't famous but she was known. Her quirk was called singer's levitation, she could sing to levitate things, her hero name was "The singer". Her body including the other two were mutilated, the reason they could even recognize Singer was because of what was left of her suit, she had a very unique suit.

"Do you think it was that girl?" The first cop asked.

"The one that's been avoiding the Police and heroes?" The second asked.

"Yeah" The first confirmed.

"No," she crossed her arms, "I don't think so, she already has that Fox quirk"

'A Fox girl? Interesting' Artemis thought. He hoped they'd talk more about the girl but they didn't so he diverted his attention to Ronan and the detective. Ronan and the detective spoke softly but thanks to Artemis' jackal half he could hear them clearly.

"So you really haven't found anything?" Ronan asked the detective.

"No, not a thing at all. whoever did this knows what they're doing," The detective said.

"What about the markings?"

"All we know Is that they disappear after a while" To Artemis' knowledge they didn't, they had to be removed manually. Ronan Pinched the bridge of his nose.

"We might need to get Pro heroes on this, we have a spree killer on our hands." Ronan said.

Artemis waited and waited until they all left, when they did he did the same thing he did the last time to the runes.

The early morning breeze was always nice to Shino. Shino walked alone to class.

Artemis had left early for whatever reason and Rikku wanted to meet up with Shizu. Avian had told everyone the prior day for everyone to be in class that day as he was announcing something important.

Shino thought for a bit as he walked, he'd been looking into the recent murders but had come up with nothing, the murders were so odd. The bodies were not decomposing making it difficult to determine the time of death, there weren't even any maggots.

The thing that confused him the most though? The markings. After a lot of research Shino determined they were runes, he was pretty sure runes used were Nordic letters.

Shino took a deep breath. He looked around taking in all the sites. The wind rustled the leaves and birds sang. In the dim morning light Shino saw something quite beautiful, Artemis.

Artemis sat with his back to a tree. He was looking at a paper in his hand. Shino walked up to Artemis.

"Artemis, is everything ok?"

Artemis looked up in surprise tears in his eyes, he hid the Paper.

"Y-Yeah every-things fine! Heh heh"
