I'm not telling you it's going to
be easy

I'm telling you it's going to be
worth it.

I backed up a bit and he just smiled at me, it wasn't any smile, it was a smile of revenge.

"What do you want?" I growled at him.

"Can't I see my daughter?"

"No." I took my knife into my hand just in case if he attacks.

"The girl, Maves" He said.

"I've been after her"

"Why?" I asked.

"If you didn't know, I have unfinished business with her." He started to laugh.

"What's the business?"

"She isn't dead yet." He started to laugh again.

I stood my ground even if he was pissing me off.

"And that book you have, it belongs to me."

"It's mine since I have it!" I yelled.

He ran towards me and took out his long sharp knife and then my knife started to extend like his.

He hit my weapon with a huge 'clang'. I pulled away and hit him in the face with my long knife that caused him to blood from his nose.

He looked at me with anger and hate.

"I'll be back for the girl and that book of yours, and I'll be bringing an army to kill you." He vanished leaving smoke in the air.

I headed back to the mansion without saying what just happened to anyone.

I walked into my room sharpening my knife and thinking what to do when he comes back.

I didn't get any sleep last night, because I was thinking of a plan.

I headed down stairs to see Toby and Maves in the kitchen eating cereal.

I smiled and asked Toby if I could talk to her.

He nodded and left the kitchen into the living room.

I took a seat next to her.

"Do you know a man named Zalgo?" I asked her.

Her eyes widened.

"I-I do, he tried to kill me because I fought back." She started to play with her fingers.

"He's my father Maves, if he comes anywhere near you, you tell me no matter what. Do you understand?"

She nodded. I gave her a warm smile and left the kitchen and went into my room.

I wanted to get some sleep since I didn't sleep last night. I jumped on my bed and didn't even put the covers over me, I let out a big sigh and closed my eyes.

My ear twitched when I heard a creek by the floor in my room. I turned my head and I saw someone standing in the corner of my room.

The person stepped out if the corner and walked towards my bed. I turned over and sat up.

The person sat next me and held my hand and intwined our fingers together.

My room was dark since the curtains were closed and the light wasn't on.

"I lied." He said. His voice was raspy but smooth.

"What did you lie about?" I looked at him trying to figure out who he is.

"For saying I don't love you...I just hated that you left and didn't say I love you, I was an idiot for hurting you. The point is that I love you like crazy Skylar and I still love you, that hasn't changed. My feelings never did changed." The person was Jeff, he held my hand tight.

A smile crept up on my face, I scooted closer to him.

"Didn't I make it clear that I'll love you no matter what." I pushed him down the bed and started to kiss him.

He held me tight and then buried his face into my neck.

"I'm sorry if I hurt you, made you cry, and made you hate me." His voice was soft and his breath was hitting my neck.

"I'm the one who should be sorry, i left without saying I love you, or that I'll be back. I'm sorry for making you hate me because I left..." My ears went down, he looked at me and then smiled.

"I love you Skylar, I will always love you." I smiled and kissed him lightly.

"And I'll never stop loving you, Jeff."

He kissed me and then deepened the kiss, he laid me on the bed and got on top of me. He kissed me on my neck then on my collarbone, I jumped a bit and he started to laugh.

He kept kissing me on my neck and my eyes started to get heavy, Jeff looked at me for a moment then smiled.

"Sleep tight, my Skylar." The last words I heard when I started to drift off to sleep.
