The Day I Met You

CHAPTER 1:

— MAY'S P.O.V —

Harry and I were on her sofa eating popcorn while watching a movie. Yeah, I made him come to my apartment so we can bond.

"Hey, after this movie we're coming to the house, okay?" I reminded him.

He was so focused on the movie that I had to pinch him.

"Ouch! Yeah, I hear you!" He said and I just chuckled. "Mom told me. She said it's another firefighter who finished his probationary year." He ate a popcorn.

"Yeah, she told me too." I said.

"You know, I love it when there's some occasions like this." He turned to me, "You know, you can stay up until you want, and there's party and food. And maybe you can even find a hot firefighter boyfriend." He smirked at me.

"Oh, shut up, Harry!" I threw a disgusted look at him.

"What??" He chuckled, "I mean, you're on the right age to date and have a boyfriend. Maybe this next firefighter will be." He smirked at me again.

"I know I'm on the right age to date, but, I just haven't seen anyone that I like. I just want to pick the right guy for me." Liar. You like someone.

He shrugged his shoulders. "Fair point." He said.

"Right? Now, can we please ho back to the movie?" I said and he just chuckled.

— BOBBY'S P.O.V —

"Athena!" I called her called her as soon as I went inside the house.

"In the kitchen!" She said.

I bought decorations for a surprise party for Ravi. He just finished his probationary year.

"Oh, Bobby. Two big plastic bags??" She was talking about the decorations.

"Oh, come on. It's not even that much." I put it down the table. "Maybe, a little too much." I said looking at it. "But compared to our decoration for Buck's welcome back party..."

"Yeah, the decorations are a lot more than that." She continued.

"Alright, we'll get started. I'll call Hen and the boys to help." I said.

"I already called them. They're on their way now." She smiled.

"Thank you very much. Now, the food is already set, except the barbecues, which I'll start doing after we finish decorating." I looked around and it was all set except the decos.

We heard a knock on the door.

"Oh, there they are. I'll get it." Athena stood up. She went to the door and opened it. "Hen!" She greeted. "Come inside."

I saw Hen, Karen, Eddie, Buck, Chimney, Maddie and the kids walk in.

"Chitchats will be later after we decorate. Where do you want us?" Hen said.

We started decorating, Buck and Eddie are assigned for blowing the balloons, Athena, Maddie and Karen are reheating the foods while me, Hen and the kids started hanging the banner and the balloons.

— BUCK'S P.O.V —

We finished all the decorations and the only one missing is the guest of honor.

"Buck, call Ravi" Bobby said as soon as we finished.

"Copy." I said.

I took my phone and dialed his number. It only took one ring and then he answered.

"Hi, this is Ravi." He greeted.
