Invincible: What If?

Part 3

"Glad you accepted my invitation." General Kregg told Omni-Man and Invincible.

The father and son duo had their hands turned into fists.

"Dad if he's also a Viltrumite, then he's a good guy right?" Mark asked Nolan.

Kregg chuckled. "Your father has lied to you, boy. We Viltrumites are conquerors. And Nolan was supposed to conquer earth decades ago."

Three other figures appeared. They were Immortal, Atom Eve, and Rex Splode.

"Wait isn't this the exact same story of Dragon Ball Z?" Rex put up a hand.

"What?" Kregg asked.

"You know. That anime. Goku is told by Raditz that he was supposed to conquer earth and he didn't do his job. Just like you told Omni-Man he was supposed to conquer earth but he didn't."

"Rex." Eve warned.

Kregg was getting more furious by the minute.

"Yeah, it's totally DBZ guys-"

Rex was about to get clotheslined by General Kregg but Omni-Man blocked him. Nolan pushed Kregg away from Rex.

"It's treason then?" Kregg smirked showing his fists.

Kregg took a step forward and punched Nolan so hard he flew away. They were all in a vacant grassy area so that no civilians would get hurt.

Rex ignited two sticks and threw them at Kregg. They exploded on his chest but the Viltrumite was unshaken. Eve tried to stop Kregg in his tracks but he kept walking towards Rex.

"Immortal go check on my Dad." Invincible told him. "I got this."

Invincible then punched Kregg in the face but to no avail. Kregg barely moved. He grabbed Invincible by the shoulder and shot two punches into the hero's gut. Invincible couldn't breathe. Then he grabbed Invincible and flew up him up in the air.

"Your father didn't tell you about our race." Kregg kept punching Invincible in the face while they flew upwards. "Join us, Invincible. And we'll finish what your father hasn't even started."

"N-never." Invincible said between blows.

Kregg paused them in mid-air then pushed towards the ground. A huge crater was formed. Invincible was in the middle of it. Barely alive.

General Kregg was about to finish him off when his arms got locked behind him by Immortal.

"Now, Nolan!" Immortal shouted as he used all of his strength to keep Kregg's arms locked.

Omni-Man flew and punched through Kregg and Immortal's guts. The punch penetrated both of their bodies.

Immortal and Kregg fell onto the ground. One of them lifeless.

Omni-Man extended a hand toward Immortal. "You'll live?"

Immortal chuckled holding on to Nolan's hand and getting lifted. "Barely."

Not too far away from earth. In a Viltrumite spacecraft. General Gregg with an eyepatch on the other eye was ready to inform his underlings of their next mission.

"My twin brother has fallen." General Gregg smirked as if happy for the loss. "Our protocol demands it. It's time to invade earth."
