yoongi stood in the middle of the stairs, sleepy.

his sleep was disturbed by a mosquito annoying him. in addition, all the curtains, including those in his room, were drawn, allowing sunlight to enter from all corners of the house.

it was also very cold, but the atmosphere was pleasant and very quiet today. the house looked clean as well.

who did this? ain't no f-cking way it was one of the boys because the house is a f-cking mess when i wake up.

"good morning!" jin, who had noticed yoongi standing, welcomed him.

"m?" yoongi's gaze went up and noticed his older brother cleaning the kitchen. he stared at him for a couple of minutes.

"ya! what are you doing standing there? come down!" jin said as he finished wiping the kitchen counter.

yoongi didn't respond. he walked up and sat at the kitchen counter.

"here, have some water." jin offered him a cup before going back to washing the dishes.

yoongi awkwardly picked it up and drank from it. "what are you doing here? don't you have work?"

jin chuckled, "i guess you're still very sleepy,"

yoongi's one brow raised, "huh?" he watched the older brother's back, waiting for an answer.

"yoongi, today's a weekend," jin replied.

yoongi's eyes squinted. what the f-ck is he saying? weekend...? OH! yoongi mentally face-palmed. i guess i am still very sleepy.

"by the way, do you want to accompany me to the post office? i need to pick up tae and jim's game," he sighed, frustratingly. "it'll be an hour's walk."

you are sighing about that?! i have to walk almost 5 f-cking hours in total every day taking those a-sholes to their school. yoongi thought.

"we can also spend some time together. it's been a while too," jin added.

"yeah, sure," yoongi replied, unbothered.

jin smiled. "yay! we can grab a coffee on the way too,"

. . .

halfway through their journey, jin and yoongi stopped at a cafe. they both sat outside the cafe and were having breakfast.

it was jin who was doing most of the talking. yoongi mentally closed his ears and pretended to listen.

he found jin's voice noisy and annoying. yoongi didn't pay for the food today, so he was happy and decided to bear with jin.

on weekends, yoongi mostly spends his time alone in his room working on his novel. it is yoongi's dream to become a writer, but his work became slow after his parents' death.

"i'm done with my breakfast. this cafe serves good food." jin looks at the shop's name at the top. "i'll get something for the boys as well, so i'll be right back!" jin said as he got up and walked inside the cafe.

"ya! i would like to order 2 boxes of cookies with banana milkshakes, extra large....."

jin's voice faded away. yoongi let out a sigh as he leaned back in his chair.

"peace!" he murmured as he let his head hang. his eyes were closed. a cold breeze brushed by, calming his nerves even more.

how i wish i could experience this peace every day... he thought.

right then, a cycle passed him on the road, splashing some water, causing yoongi to flinch and sit up straight.

yoongi looked around, turning his torso as well. it took him seconds to realize what had just happened. he controlled his anger and stopped himself from cursing.
