4th october of 1977:

It was a beautiful spring day, and the marauders were in the Great Hall enjoying their breakfast before starting to plan a party because in fact, they hadn't done any since Peter's birthday. And it was honestly a record!

At the Gryffindor table, every one was doing their own business. Sirius Black was talking to a random girl who asked him out (and he obviously accepted). James Potter who was watching the one and only Lily Evans whom he had been chasing since their 2nd year at Hogwarts. Remus Lupin, who had a blank stare, thinking about the next full moon which will indeed take place in 2 days. And finally, Peter Pettigrew who was stuffing himself, absolutely not caring about what was happening around him.

They were all in their own world before a beautiful redhead came near them. It was in fact, Potter's crush: Evans.

"Hi Lily-flower! What brings you here?" Suddenly exclaimed the boy with round glasses, getting up to go see her.

"I'm not here to talk to you Potter. And i would never." She replied coldly before she turned her head to be face to face with the named Remus. "I was wondering if you wanted to go study our potion test for the next week at the library this afternoon?" She asked.

"Sorry dear, but Moony promised to spend his day with us to prepare a party." Suddenly add the voice of a young man with black hair, very popular, Sirius.

Lily just glance at him with a dirty look as she spun again at the lycanthrope with a disappointed stare. She spoke. "Seriously ?"

"Do i have to remind you that he just can be Remusly ?" Said Sirius cutting her to joke while she was talking.

"Shut up idiot. Don't ever interrupt me again or else you are gonna found yourself in your tombstone." She warned him with a soft but psycho smile as she restar-

"Are you about to betray me Evans? Are you going to kill my brother? Are you really gonna do this to me, your futur husband..?!" James interject dramatically, putting his hands on his chest and pretending he was having a heart attack.

The concerned rolled her eyes as she heared Black carry on what Potter just said. "Oh Jamesie..!! If we weren't like brothers i would surely marry you!" And here is a new dramaqueen.

She couldn't bear them, she just slapped their heads before focusing to Moony again. "Remus! Why would you help those idiots who serve you as friends? I mean.. you are not supposed to do that! Do i have to remind you that you are a prefect?!" Lily was letting out her anger on Remus, she sighs as she understood what she was doing and quickly apologies. "Look, i'm sorry Rem'.. your friends just got on my nerves and I took it out on you.. But all i wanted to say at first place was just that you are a prefect. You can't do that." She explained more calmly.

He just nods and spoke "I'm sorry but i can't just broke a promise i did like this. Understand me.. what would you do if the role prevented you from being yourself or having fun for the rare times." He paused to think of how could he convince her. After a short moment he adds. "Besides, it's not like the last party they did was a month ago. They are improving." He ran a hand through his hair, smiling stupidly at his best friend.

She sighs again. "Alright.. i'll let it pass this time though. But It's only once!" She glance to Sirius and James who were both exploding with joy at this announcement, and without knowing, the women unexpectedly smiled.

It was the evening and the marauders just started the party that they have been preparing since this morning.

We could not recognize the Gryffindor common room anymore. The chairs were all in place on the points to make way for a dance floor, the tables were lined up for a buffet, with lots of foods, like meat, soup, chocolate (even if Remus protested to keep it to himself), cake, and many other things. There was some drink too, like pumkin juice, butterbear or even some alcohol. Really good stuff.
