—eileen sat in the corner of her dim room, curled up in her worn armchair by the window. the soft, golden glow of the lamp beside her was barely enough to break the heavy shadows that clung to the walls.
the night was quiet, save for the occasional hum of a passing car or the distant bark of a restless dog. but her attention was not on the sounds of the night. her gaze, sharp and unwavering, was fixed on the window across the narrow street.
In the room directly opposite hers, a woman stood. eileen had been watching her for a while now, though she wasn't entirely sure how long. the woman wasn't really tall, but she was striking, her broad shoulders and strong build draped in a dark, tailored suit that clung to her frame with precision.
It was clear she had just come back from somewhere elegant, maybe a high-end dinner or a private event. her movements were deliberate, almost ritualistic, as she unbuttoned the jacket of her suit, her fingers working each clasp with the ease of routine.
the silk shirt beneath it gleamed faintly under the light of her room, catching eileen's eye in contrast to the dark surroundings.
eileen's breath hitched slightly, though she wasn't aware of it. she watched as the woman's hands moved down her shirt, loosening the buttons one by one. her gestures were unhurried, sensual in their simplicity, though she gave no indication of doing anything other than preparing for bed.
her jaw was sharp, angular, the light from her room casting faint shadows along her face that gave her a severe, almost commanding appearance. eileen was transfixed, as if the world beyond that window had shrunk to only this—this woman, shedding her formal attire with an almost magnetic presence.
the intimacy of the moment made eileen's heart race in a way she couldn't quite place. she knew she shouldn't be watching; she knew it was wrong.
the woman had no idea she was being observed. eileen's lamp was dim, just enough to keep her hidden while she soaked in the sight.
