𝐊𝐀𝐙𝐈𝐌𝐈𝐑 groaned loudly in annoyance, snatching his phone off of his dresser next to his bed, answering the phone.
It had been two weeks since he physically was in Cairo's presence, and they FaceTimed each other every other night, talking until one got tired. He got to know her better, and they were now good friends.
"Wassup, baby mama?" He muttered, sitting up in the queen sized bed.
"Hey, you still coming to get Syani? I told you, I got plans today, Mir." Kazimir's baby mother, spoke, and he cursed lowly, jumping out the bed, walking into his bathroom.
"My bad, Lani. I'm coming right now. I'm sorry." He apologized, putting toothpaste on his toothbrush.
"It's fine. She'll be ready by the time you're here. Be safe." She assured him, watching him in the camera, washing his face now.
"Aight. Love you," He grabbed the phone, about to hang up.
"I love you too." She quickly said, before hanging up, going to pack up Syani's things so she could go with her dad.
Julani and Kazimir went way back, being friends since college. One night, they had gotten left in their friends' dorm alone, and one thing led to another, resulting in Syani being born. Though Kazimir didn't really want a kid at the moment, Julani made it crystal clear that her baby wasn't going nowhere, and he was gonna take care of her, no matter what. In little time, Julani developed feelings for Mir, but he turned her down since he was only focusing on the baby and his career. 5 years later, they were co-parenting, not having any complications.
Once Kazimir took a shower and got dressed in a white T-Shirt and Grey Sweatpants with some Nike slides, he headed out the door, making his way to his 2021 Cadillac Escalade, opening the door, and getting in, putting on his seatbelt, and pulling off once he started the car up.
