Trigger warning : Depiction of strong language, abuse, sexual assault, violence.

Isabella's POV :

I could feel the birds chirping on my balcony, and I tried to open my eyes to take it all in. But those sunrays were just too strong, my eyes shut again. Eventually though, I managed to open my eyes wide and that's when it hit me, i found myself drowned into sea of thoughts.

Leaning on the balcony railing, I found myself lost in a flashback, I still couldn't believe that I had lost my only friend last night. A tear welled up in my eye, but I held it back. This wasn't the time to sit and cry.

This morning didn't feel particularly special to me, but there was definitely something unusual about it. Life is full of unexpected moments, right? I laughed at my pathetic self.

I felt like I had to run away before it was too late and I end up in the hands of that monster.

With all the courage I could muster, I went to my cupboard, grabbed a bag, and filled it with necessary items. I searched my room for something like a rope, but couldn't find anything.

Feeling a bit defeated, I plopped down on my bed. Then, I noticed a blanket underneath me and an idea popped into my mind.

I bought some scissors and cut the blanket into strips, tying them together to make a rope. The rope was ready, and so were my things, but I wasn't ready yet.

I started worrying about what would happen if I actually ran away. Either way, my dad would find out, and I couldn't help but wonder what consequences I would face if he caught me. It was definitely a tough decision to make.

I grabbed my bag and tied the rope to my balcony railing, letting the rest of it hang down. The rope didn't quite reach the ground, so I knew I would have to jump a little.

Taking a deep breath, I realized that I might have to risk breaking some bones to succeed. I climbed onto a stool and looked down. It was a two-story mansion, and I was on the second floor.

The thought of failing and potentially injuring myself weighed heavily on my mind. I felt nervous, and my legs seemed frozen, making it difficult for me to take that leap.

I was still looking down at the rope when my room door burst open. My dad stood there with big men in black suits, "Gaurds!! Get her!". Suddenly, one of the guards came and lifted me up from behind, "Let GO!!" I shouted while struggled in his arms. His grip was tight, and it was painful. "LET ME GO!!" I wriggled and continued to shout.

Suddenly, He hit me on the head with something, making me feel weak and dizzy, causing me to fall to the ground.

I wasn't completely unconscious, though, and I could hear their conversation. "Hey! What the heck happened to her!! Did you killed her or what?!" "No i just knocked her out". I tried to opening my eyes, but I couldn't. Eventually, I felt my body being moved somewhere, and My eyes felt heavy as I black out.

Unknown POV :

"So let me get this straight, you're saying Richard is going to fix his marriage with Robert's daughter today?!" I said, furiously. "How did none of you didn't get to know about his plans? I specifically told you and everyone to keep an eye on him!" "We are keeping our eyes on him, it turned out, he decided on this last night".

They're in a rush to have the wedding. But why? This question was ringing in my head "What does he gain from this marriage?" I asked curiously, Is he so desperate to give away his only daughter? "Apparently, Mathew is willingly investing in his all sort of illegal business and offering partnership in the company. It's hard to figure out what's going on with their relationship". "Wait, i know what to do now", I mentioned with an evil smirk.

"What?" "No bride, No marriage!" I chuckled at my thoughts.

At Lancaster Mansion : 8.30 pm (evening meet)

Robert's POV :

I rushed to the door when I heard a car honk. A fancy maybach was parked in the pathway, and Mathew and his son Richard stepped out of it, making their way towards the house.

The maid opened the door, and there I stood in the middle. Mathew entered first, and then Richard followed.

I greeted them with a big smile and exclaimed, "Bienvenido! Bienvenido!" Surprise filled Mathew's face as he asked, "You spoke Spanish?!" I chuckled and replied, "This is the only word I know." Both of you shared a laugh.

But amidst the conversation, Richard seemed irritated and impatient. I couldn't help but ask, "What happened, Richard? Why do you look so disturbed?" "Can you bring her down? He snapped back, his voice was filled with irritation with all these greetings and formalities, which got you a bit annoyed too.

However, Mathew stepped in and demanded an apology from Richard. Reluctantly, Richard said sorry, rolling his eyes.

Mathew then explained, "Sorry, Robert. He's been like that since last night. He's just impatient, you know." Mathew winked at you, and you smirked, understanding the situation.

You gave a bittersweet smile, thinking about her. She wasn't even worth all this trouble.

At Lancaster Mansion : Waiting room.

I managed to keep them waiting. I wonder what's taking so long for her to come down. I can't take it anymore. Maybe I should go up to see what tantrums she might be throwing right now.

No one's POV :

Robert climbed up the stairs and made his way to Isabella's bedroom. As he was about to enter, he heard everyone whispering, but he didn't pay much mind to it.

Opening the door, he found everyone in a state of panic. With a raised eyebrow, "Where's Isabella?" he demanded. "Sir-r......mam" "Are you gonna hurry up?? Or should I fucking load this into your head!!?" He said removing his gun from his waisgband.

Things escalated quickly as he threatened them, "Mam ran away,...through the window using that blanket as a rope-e" a man said, frightened.

"Where the fuck were YOU ALL?!?" He was now losing his mind, "AND I fucking told someone to throw that rope AWAY, who didn't do their job??!" He even had his gun ready, ready to shoot anyone who dared to cross his path, when from someone beside him stepped up. "Sor-ry Sir-" *BANG* that man's sentence hung in the air, unfinished, as a sudden, deafening explosion erupted.

The shockwave reverberated through the room, leaving everyone stunned and trembling in fear. Gasps escaped from their lips as they realized the horrifying reality: their safety had been shattered, and the threat of danger loomed over them.

Amidst the chaos, Robert's mind slowly regained clarity, trying to make sense of the terrifying turn of events.

He put it down calming himself, knowing this wasn't going to solve the problem. His preparations were in vain as Isabella managed to slip away.

Frustrated, he ordered everyone to find her at any cost, and they rushed out of the room to begin their search.

He was determined not to find her and make her pay. However, he couldn't help but worry about what answers he should give to the waiting guests. It's definitely a tough situation to handle with.
