Tales of the Sea | Book Two

Prologue 🔱

You hum silently to yourself in the cold damp room. The sounds of water dripping was the only thing keeping you sane. After decapitating Poseidon so suddenly Zues had no choice but to put you into Divine Prison. A prison built just for rogue gods .. or in his words "Gods who have lost their way". 

A small chuckle left your mouth while the chains rattled on your wrist, "Oh how pathetic I am. Falling for such dumb tricks." Laughter escapes your mouth perhaps Divine Prison is making you go insane but what more do you have to lose. Suddenly you could hear footsteps approach your cell. 

"Zeus if thats you .. I will not participate in your stupid pissing god contest." You sneer. Silence falls as the cell door opens, "Sweetheart, did you miss me?" Your eyes bulge after hearing that sultry voice once again, "You know I've grown tired of killing you." Your head slowly rises only to be met with those familiar blue eyes and blonde hair, "Ah theres that beautiful face I remember." 

Poseidon sighs squatting to meet you eye to eye, the chains rattle as you try to launch yourself at him. "Calm down. I'm not here to fight. I'm only here to help." He says. Your head hangs low as those fake memories come flying back into to your brain, "I'd rather die." "Now now sweetheart. That'll just mean we'll be together in the afterlife, but I think you'll want to hear this." 

"The answer is no. Now leave!" You yell. Poseidon ignores you and begins his monologue, "See we've run into a bit of dilemma. Someone more likely a god has been tampering with these honorable fights." You scoff when he mentions honorable, "This is where you come into play darling. We need some external factor to infiltrate this little insignificant Valkyrie group."  

Hysterical laughter leaves your throat, "The all mighty gods of the heavens bested by Divine Treasure. How have the mighty have fallen." "See darling I love you so much I even cut a deal with my brother. He will set you free but only if you agree. No agreement then I will just simply stop by every day to visit you like the devoting husband I am." 

Mind rattles with the choices defy the gods or defy the humans you were sworn to protect. On the other hand, it would be nice to sabotage Zues and his little stupid little tournament. "You know husband that actually sounds fun." Your head rises slowly with a smile, "I'll be sure to kill anyone I face slowly." 

"You are simply magnificent." Poseidon's eyes sparkle. The sea god begins to unshackle your chains. Slowly rising to your feet rubbing the soreness from your wrist, "So first things first .. you move back home." Poseidon says. He slowly leans in as if he wanted to kiss you only for him to be stopped by the palm of your hand, "Hard pass. I'm a free woman now." Brushing pass the god you walk out of your cell door. 

The sunlight gracing your skin once again, "Ah .. it  feels so good free." You spread your arms in excitement ready to provide the sweet feeling of death to the gods that have wronged you.

That freedom was months ago and now you find yourself in front of Brunnhilde, "Goddess YN I beg of you to help us please." Legs crossed as you sat there watching the Valkyrie plead for your help, "Tell me Hilde .. wait I can call you Hilde right? Who cares .. anyway I can't help but to feel like this was some sort of ploy to get me here right." 

Brunnhilde nervously chuckle, "Of course it's not." She's lying but I suppose our interest do align at least for the moment.  Brain buzzing with ways you were going to slaughter those who turned their back on you. Slowly rising to your feet Brunnhilde's voice hitches in her throat, "Fine .. anything to piss Zeus off. I thrive in his anger." 

Her faces lights up with happiness pinched with a hint of malice as she bows before you, "Goddess YN .. the human race thanks you." Before you could respond the room to the meeting door opens, "Oh shit the rumors were true they did free you." 

"So nice of you to finally join us Buddha." Brunnhilde responds. The God casually sucking on a piece of candy as he gazes at you over his glasses. "In the flesh." You say casually.  "Just as beautiful and cutthroat as ever." He says, walking over. You roll your eyes at his words already over what was about to happen, "Well Hilde glad we are the same page. I'll be seeing you soon." You reply, with a closed eyed smile. 

Quickly getting up you make your way towards the door, "I'll be seeing you soon .. YN." Buddha says, walking you walk away. His eyes begin flicker between his clairvoyance and natural state, "Yeah you won't." You say, leaving. Why the fuck did his eyes do that? "I see the future might be actually on my side." Buddha says to himself. "Sir please you are still staring at the door." Brunnhilde says awkwardly.

Hmmm is this okay ? Idk I've missed you guys and wanted to try something new I'm so sorry its been so long. Life has been lifeing plus I just graduated so I'm also looking for a job cause I got bills lmaooo . I hope yall enjoy this one I actually just finished the anime and came up with this. 

And yes I will still be working on that Bleach story .. my stories will always get finished no matter how long .. please forgive me yall 😭🥹
