A World Of Continuous Running <jurassic world>

ONE: lila lockwood.

LILAS POV:
I was sitting on my bed reading my grandfathers diary on Jurassic park, I must say it's very interesting and I would've love to be there.

I actually was meant to go there, but luckily I didn't because after the disaster of 2015 I would've been dead. I'm so glad my little sister made me stay home.

The door to my room slammed open making my jump I looked over at my door to see my little sister Maisie.

"Maisie? You got to stop slamming my door open, your going to break it one day plus it allways scared me!" I shouted while chuckling.

"Ops, sorry" she laughed nervously and sat beside me on the bed.

"Mr. Mills has someone over, I think she was at the park when the disaster happened." She stated.

"What? No mais-." I got cut of by her grabbing my hand and running to the door.

"Come see" she took me too the stairs and we crouched down so they couldn't see us.

We overheard some talk about saving the dinosaurs and needing some velociraptor I didn't hear anything else because the women with orange hair spotted us and me and Maisie ran back to my room.

"What the heck was that about?" I asked with a confused expression.

"I don't know, should be tell grandpa?"she asked.

"I don't know if that's a good idea, he probably knows about this anyways."

"Your right".

After a while me and Maisie where hiding because we didn't want iris to find us. We hid behind a statue and Maisie left her stuffed bear on one of the dinosaurs statue in the class cages.

"Why are we hiding again?" I whispered with a confused expression to my sister.

"Shhhhh" she replied, I put my hands up as a gesture that I was sorry and it was my fault.

"Maisie!, Lila!" Iris shouted while looking around, me and maisie let out a small laugh and iris sighed still looking for us.

"Come out!" She shouted.

Me and maisie moved spots which led the plastic leaves to rustle as we went throught them and iris looked that way.

She then spotted Maisie's stuffed bear hanging from the fake dinosaur's mouth.

Me and maisie then jamp out.

"Boo!" We both said on unison.

Iris jamp out her skin "You silly sausages." She replied still shaken up by the scare.

Me and maisie then fell into a laughing fit.

"You two will be the death of me. You know one day, my heart might actually stop. Then what would you two do?, go live in the forest with the lions?" Iris asked.

I gave her a confused look because lions don't live in the forest. Then out of nowhere maisie read my mind out loud.

"There are no lions in the forest."

"You grandfathers been asking for you both." Iris said. "Really?" Me and maisie both asked. "Mhm. So, go see your grandfather, and then maisie you go straight to your bath, and Lila I need some help with finding new books." Iris said and I nodded.

"I don't want a bath." Maisie said.

"What! Queens English girl, bath" iris said in her British accent.

"Bath"

"Bath"

"Bath"

"Bath, not 'bath,' you're not a wild animal."

Maisie then let out a roar and scared poor iris again. "Stop." She said.

When me and Maisie parted ways, she went for her bath and I went to find books that iris requested I needed to 'study science' honestly, I don't get why she's forcing me to read these books because it's not like it will be useful in my boring life anyway.

As I made my way up into the library I heard mr mills on the phone again. Gosh I never knew that man had any friends.

Anyway, I made my way up to the library a few doors down from my room and I shut the door once I stepped in.

It took me well over 20 minutes to find 3 books in this massive place called a library and once I found them I left and went back to my room.

I read just over two pages before I got so board I eventually stopped and sat on my bed staring at the ceiling and I slowly drifted off to sleep.

I was interrupted by my sister barging in my room and almost scaring me to death.

"Jesus Christ, Maisie!" I complained.

"Ops, sorry not sorry."

"Can I help you by any chance?" I asked while gettting of my bed.

"Yes actually, follow me. Grandpa wants to speak to us." She replied.

"Uh oh, he hasn't noticed the vase I broke while I aimed a orange at your head but missed and hit the vase, did he?" I asked nervously.

"Nope, plus I glued that together a while ago." She waved off and I sighed of relief but was cut short when we heard something broke from across the hall.

"Who glued the vase together and didn't do a good job!" Iris shouted from across the hall and me and Maisie giggled before sneaking out my room and up to our grandfathers room.

"Hi grandpa" we both said in unison.

"Ah, there you both are. Come over and sit by me." He asked. "I've missed you both."

"I was on the safari, all the way through the Cretaceous to the Jurassic in one day." Maisie ranted.

"Oh, my. What'd you see?" He asked.

"Mostly herbivores. There was one t.Rex, though. Causialties, of course. Iris included." She glanced at me who giggled and then at iris.

"She jumped out of her skin." She carried on ranting.

Grandpa chuckled. "You have got your mothers wicked sence of humor." He replied and that made me and Maisie smile.

Maisie then glanced at the book he had. "Do I look like her?" Maisie asked.

"Oh yes. You could be her mirror image" Maisie smiled at her grandfathers words.

"Do I look like her?" I ask and that caused grandpa and iris to look at eachother.

He didn't reply.

"Grandpa?" I asked.

"Im afraid I can't tell you that." He replied.

"What why?!"

"That's enough, lila."

I just huffed and crossed my arms.

"Did our mother ever visit the park?" Maisie asked.

"Once, she would've saved them too you know" he told us.

I just looked at him but I couldn't get off my mind on how he can't tell me wether I look like my mother or not.

A/N: yes, yes. I know i promised to do chapter one like over a week ago but i cba and school is tiring so 😭
