It's been one day and twelve hours since I left San Diego. Sixteen hours for sleep, one hour for fast food, and a couple more for pit stops and gas. By the time I made it to my new loft-type apartment, it was five in the morning. I met the moving dudes outside and they followed me up to my place and started to move my things in.
As I unlocked the door and allowed the them to do their thing, I stood in the hallway going through my missed calls and texts on my cell phone. The next thing I knew the door, to the apartment next to me, opened. I was shocked and frozen to the floor when I glanced up to see who was in the doorway.
I didn't think that I was going to see him this early in the morning or on my first day back in town. Peter Hale stood there in teal-green pajama pants, no shirt, and bed hair, to be completely honest he looked good. I had to look away before I started to drool and I still can't believe that he still has that much power over me."Do you have any idea what time it is?" Peter asked obviously not recognizing who I was.
"Yes, it's five in the morning and probably everyone is either at work or getting ready for work. Does that answer your question, Peter."
"Sort of, yes." He was about to close the door behind him but stopped, realizing that I had just called him by his name. "Wait, how do you know my name?" As soon as I looked up at him, his heart beat increased and I knew then that he recognized me. "Marrisa McCall, wow! I never thought that I'd see you again."
"Yes, well, I thought the same about you."
"Why are you back in town?" He asked while standing in his doorway with his arms crossed over his broad and amazing, yet bare chest. Oh my gosh, stop looking at his chest! I scolded myself and adverted my eyes towards the outline of his member in his pajama pants. NO! Don't look there either. Look at his eyes, at his eyes! I scolded myself yet again and then looked up into his amazing blue orbs for eyes.
"I'm here to help Scott with a big threat that's probably already here."
"And what's the big threat?" I could tell he knew exactly what the threat was but he wasn't going to say anything.
"Alpha's! A pack of them actually, but you already knew that." He gave me a look that said otherwise. "You know all about them, don't you?"
"Yes, but I don't want to talk about it here nor now. So can you meet me at the old house at say noon?"
"Sure." As soon as I said that he went back into his apartment and I in mine. I tipped the movers for bringing in all of my things and then they left.

About two hours had went by and I got bored just waiting for noon to come while at my apartment. So I was in my car headed towards the hospital to see my Aunt Melissa, just to pass the time. I pulled up in one of the spaces in the parking lot and noticed Scott jumping off his bike at the same time.
"Marisa, is that you?"
"Hey Scotty!"
"Wow! Long time no see. How have you been?" He asked after he gave me a big hug, as he picked me up off of my feet and spinning me around, before putting me back down.
"I've been good. Man, I haven't seen you since you were nine years old."
"Yeah, I was in second grade when you left and I didn't know if you were ever going to come back."
"Yeah, you were crushing on Lena Ritchson. You still don't have a crush on her do you, bc I'd have to kick your ass if you did, besides she was too old for you to begin with." I said with sarcasm.
We kept talking as we walked up to the hospital doors and entered them. "So why aren't you in school?" I asked Scotty bc this was the first day of the school year, after all.
