New face, new case

Author's Note: This is my first ever mystery story and first story I put work into! So hope you love it :p

(Lewis Pov)

This will be my last...

Starring at the company, it seems like a hell of a place, seeing as there was a line of people wanting help from these people. My nose is overtaken by a putrid aroma, smelled like decaying flesh. "Lewis Aluds Mcloon!" Hollered by a female voice, suddenly my focus went from the smell to her voice. "Here I am." I responded to her call. Coming out to the sound of my voice I met a woman with mild tone red hair in a white blouse along with some tight black pants.

"Seems like you can't keep a job, Mcloon's." The woman pointed out to me. I was irritated by her historical marks on me, I tried to keep my calm, due to her looking like she was younger than me.

"You hear for an interview I presume?" The woman asked, finally she was asking a genuine question.

"Yes, I am, are you holding them since you asked about it?" I responded, but in my defense there 99.5% she'll say no, or I'll be in luck if she says yes.

"Perchance" She said, WHAT THE FUCK KINDA  ANSWER IS PERCHANCE, IT WAS EITHER A YES OR NO, clearly she knew I was in raged but you can't really due to my trying to keep a calm face.

"Is that a yes or no?." I asked, I needed an answer or else I was going to be in prison.

"I never said, so I won't say" She replied to my question with a snarky tone, she threw her hands into a cover over one of the others.

This lady was going to make me lose my fucking mind if she didn't answer my question, I was so close to strangle the living crap out of this woman, I know I shouldn't put on woman, my mother raised me better than that, but this time... I might have too.

"Follow me for the interview, and along with that, my name is Belvis Watson." Belvis states, to me, her is well...uncommon, because you usually don't ask someone their name and they say "Belvis" specifically from a young woman.

While walking towards the building, people seemed to be hostile, grabbing and shouting to be answered and seen, there were all sorts of people, different races, different genders, different backgrounds, different or similar cases. But none of that is my business, as I'm just here to get a job and make money. But I know, in all senses, I'll probably be helping them since that's what the job is about.

As we both enter the building, all I see are overcrowded mini sections, missing posters to the wall and up, marked up posters boards, and overwhelmed helpers. Belvis grabs my coat and drags me down a low tinted hallway, it was far away from the crowd, which is already suspicious, plus it was already dark which raised my suspension through the roof. The eerie energy I felt was overwhelming to myself, but it didn't seem much for Belvis.

I took my eyes off of her dragging me down the hall to observe my surroundings, and then suddenly the force of Belvis dragging me stopped, I looked around rapidly, until I found a door that's slightly open with a dim light, much brighter than the hallway, at least. I really should have to myself because before I knew it I was at the wall next to the door, my heart was racing, even though I shouldn't be scared, But I am.

I get close to the door, not that close but close enough to hear the conversation. "He's name is Walker Strvun, is that his real last name or his spouse?" I hear Belvis voice ask, at first I thought she was talking to herself. "His spouse's last name" A man voice yanked me away from Belvis voice to his, I have to admit he voice is attractive, but I'm not a homosexual, just admiring, a little too hard. { ( ͡°͜ʖ ͡°) }

I decided to stop being scared, since I knew Belvis was in there I pushed the door open and  expected for the worse, I stood in the door frame of the door, "Belvis..." I was trying to attract her attention so I could get the job and go home.

"You know this man Belvis?" The man had asked, rolling up his sleeve as if he was going to beat my ass if she said no,
