ONE MONTH LATER
Its been a month since louis and harry took lucy home and have been so happy with how well lucy has adjusted to being with them and louis and harry put lucy in the same school as jack but there was no space for her in jacks class and she was put in a different class and that was ok too and lucy has adjusted very good at her new school and louis and harry had taken lucy to the center a few times and louis and harry couldn't believe how quickly the kids at the center were being adopted with the awareness that the bakeries have had
"angel we have to go" harry says
"I know sorry was brushing lucys hair" louis says
"princess you know today is a important day for all of us" harry says
"I know you are going to be my forever daddy and Loulou is going to be my forever mommy" lucy says with a wide smile
"yes of course" louis says "I love you my sweet princess"
"I love you mommy" lucy says as louis starts to cry "why you cry"

"come on lets go before I don't stop crying" louis says as they leave and get to the court house and soon walk in as harry sees his attorney

"we are in courtroom 5" carlos says as they see everyone walking to them
"ohh before i forget louis your name change will be ready in 30 days and come by my office tomorrow we had to do a background check on you for the adoption and I wanted to talk over somethings with you" carlos says
"ohh ok what time" louis says confused "is it bad"
"no nothing bad I promise just something that came up and I wanted to talk to you how about you come to my office when you drop off lucy at school" carlos says
"ok gemma can you take lucy to school tomorrow" louis says
"yes of course" gemma says as they walk in the courtroom and sit down as lucy sits on harrys lap since she is attached to him and soon hear family after family being called
"state vs harry styles and louis Tomlinson" the bailiff says as harry louis and the attorney stand up and go before the judge ( A/N I AM NOT SURE HOW THIS WORKS BUT FOR THE SAKE OF THIS STORY THIS IS HOW ADOPTION WORKS)
"we have harry styles and louis Tomlinson requesting the permanent adoption of lucy jane jones" the judge says
"yes your honor" the attorney says
"I see you all have taken the proper steps to make sure no family members wanted to adopt her" the judge says
"yes your honor she was surrendered as a toddler and mr Tomlinson has volunteered at the center the minor was at and have formed a bond as well when minor child met mr styles and their friends and family they all have formed a bond with her as well your honor" the attorney says
"are mr styles and mr Tomlinson married" the judge says
"they are engaged to be married and have lived together for the last 2 years and have know each other fo the last 3 years" the attorney says
