Hang in there, Abby.

Abby ran down the street, turning every which way trying to avoid the girl behind her. She was quickly catching up to Abby. The street lights flickered around them, and Abby was starting to slow down due to fatigue. However, she tried to keep up her pace. Abby didn't know what Rosalyn would do to her if she stopped running. Perhaps jump her? She didn't know. Rosalyn was yelling from behind Abby.

"YOU CAN'T KEEP RUNNING ABBY! I KNOW YOU'RE TIRED!" Rosalyn sounded exhausted. It was obvious she couldn't keep running for much longer either.
Abby laughed, but was wheezing and panting. "You wish!"

Suddenly, Rosalyn sped up and jumped on Abby, who fell down and rolled onto the grass. "I gotcha!" Rosalyn giggled, jumping up and off of her younger sister. Abby looked exhausted. "You..You got me!" She was sprawled across the grass, trying to cool down and rest.

Rosalyn was also panting. "You suck at tag, y'know. I can't believe I was just..able to jump on you like that!" She snickered, looking around at the dark street surrounding them. "It's getting pretty dark, we should really get home soon Abs." Rosalyn looked down at her sister, holding out her right hand at an attempt of being nice.

Abby took her older sister's hand, groaned, and got up off the grass. "Thanks." She began walking to their house, and Rosalyn followed close behind her. Despite Rosalyn being older, Abby was definitely more of an "older sister" than Rosalyn could ever be. She was..more mature in a way.

Honestly, Abby sometimes forgot she was the younger one. Despite being 14, sometimes she felt like an old soul. Abby was completely lost in her thoughts, and before she knew it, they were back at the house. Rosalyn ran up to the door and opened it, holding it open a little bit so Abby could also get in.

When Abby got in, she kicked off her shoes and ran up to her room. It was pretty late, and she was tired. It was going to be a pretty average day, despite like..a test or two. Abby pulled out her phone and began to text her best friend, Emmi.

Abby hopped out of bed, and walked to the bathroom. She showered, got ready, and eventually was ready to roll. Abby walked out of the house, and ran over to the house next door. She knocked, and a pretty, tall girl with long black hair answered the door. Behind her, was a girl who almost looked exactly like her, but had shorter hair, and looked exhausted.

"Heya Abs! You ready to go?" The girl had her backpack slung over her shoulder. "Hi Emmi, I am, are you? And.." Abby stared behind Emmi. "..Momo? Are you ready too?" Abby smiled at the both of them, but Momo just blankly stared back at her.

"Yeah! We're also ready, let's gooo!" Emmi walked out of the house and Momo quietly followed behind her. The three girls walked side by side, Emmi and Abby chatting with each other. Suddenly, Abby stopped talking and looked over at Momo. "Hey Momo?"

Momo looked over at Abby with a blank expression on her face. Abby spoke again. "Y'know that project we have together? Wanna come over to my place after school to work on it? Ms. Smith BARELY gives us enough time to work on it in class. I know we have plenty of time but I don't think we'll find any time during school if we don't schedule a time to work on it."

"Uh, Yeah, Sure." Momo said, continuing to give her a blank stare. Abby smiled. "Alrighty! That sounds like a plan!" Abby turned back to Emmi and continued to chat with her. Momo stayed silent for the rest of the walk to school, thinking about how later that day would go down. Maybe they would finish the project, one less thing to worry about.
