Soon enough they were standing a few feet in front of the colorful magic, which Hush felt an intense urge to touch, to collect. Shimmering and swirling, it was truly a sight to behold.

"The Aurora Borealis, or, more simply, the Northern Lights," Silver said, removing his hand from Hush's and putting it in his own pocket. "The very core of all magic."

Hush nodded, able to hear the low buzz that so much magic gave off. He suddenly had an idea. An absurd one, but it might be possible to accomplish.

"Of course," Silver said and smiled a bit, giving Hush a light pat on his shoulder. "There's plenty to go around."

Hush nodded and smiled back, knowing what he was about to do was fairly dangerous. It could kill him. A lot of things could kill him, recently, yet he still attempted them. The world was a strange place. But he had to help Rune. He had to save his friend.

Hush stepped closer to the hovering magic, the pull strong and obvious. There was a whisper of singing, as if the magic was calling him.

Hush closed his eyes, and before silver could grab him, he stepped into the sea of shimmering magic.
