Chapter 8

Arjun's Pov

"Hey, Kaarna, Kaarna", I held her hand and pinned her against the glass wall, yes, I knew that's what she wanted. I left her hand and held her by her waist. Her hands moved up my neck, and with a seductive smile on my face I fixed her hair, "Darling, Sweetheart, Baby."

"At least now you remember my name", she commented with a sarcastic tone.

"Huh... Kaarna", I struggled to keep my smile intact, her strong perfume was flaring up my nose, still I continued my flirtatious tone, I got to fix this.

"You know right, Sakshi is not my type. Just why would you then tell on her", I twitched my tongue, "chh... which will deploy my image. What about if we, you and I go on a nice romantic date", I kissed the back of her palm.

"This time just a one-night stand won't work."

She pulled her hand away, I was getting more hesitant, "Umm... Baby."

"I wanted to get into a relationship with you, and", she ran her finger through my jawline, "I want you to make it public and confess to me in your concert."

What? Isn't she asking too much to shut her damn mouth? Should I try to bargain? I nervously giggled, "Don't you think it's a little too much."

"Sakshi will sure get fired if I do tell on about you two", she pouted her lips. She was really trying to get what she wanted. But the real question was, was I going to give her that? What can I say, I ruined Sakshi's mood already. I took a deep sigh, raising her chin, I didn't want to get her lips too close to mine.

"Baby which song you like ?"

"Really", Kaarna's face lit up, "Are we in a relationship?"

I said with a nod, "I am afraid so..."

She hugged me tightly, squeezing my neck. She gave me wet kisses on my cheek. Dang it! I could feel her wet lipstick getting stuck to my beard. I tried to pull her away, but she didn't seem to care. I took a deep sigh, What did I get myself into?

I went to the conference room, I saw Keshav sitting on the couch, his hand wrapped up, playing some random car game on his phone. I sunk in the chair beside him, "Hi, I am Chandler, I make jokes when I am uncomfortable", I scratched my brow and took a deep sigh, "I hate myself."

"Love you too buddy", he replied while playing on his phone. I gave him a deathly stare but even he didn't seem to care.
