Wonderlands Bookshop, tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. M.H.

As I walked home I held the business card between my hands.  The card was an off-white cream color with black lettering.

I had never heard of Wonderlands Bookshop.. Was it new? Probably some hipster place.

I got back to my house and slowly made my way up the front steps. It was 11 o'clock at night, so god knows what I will be walking into. My mother could be pasted out again or in a fit of rage; I opened the door and and it was quiet.

I slowly made my way in, trying to be as quiet as I possibly can be.

Then it hit me. The smell of something that I hadn't smelled in a very long time, pancakes. I walked into the kitchen and saw my mom standing in front of the stove, "Mom?" I slowly called out. She turned around and gave me a big smile. Her hair was washed, she had fresh clothes on and she didn't smell of liquor. "Hi hunny." she turned around and placed a pancake on plate that was sitting on the table.

"What's going on?" I asked putting my hands along with business card in my pockets.

"Pancakes!" She happily said.

"I can see that, but why?" I asked.

"I wanted to apologize to you about before." she quietly said.

"Oh, you mean the part about 'you cutting my head off?'"  I asked starting to walk away from her. I know this little game she wants to play; she makes the pancakes as a piece offering, she cleans herself up to show that she's trying to change and then the apology .

"Now baby, you know I was just kidding." She walked after me and grabbed my wrists.

"Huh? Kidding?" I pulled away from her and walked to my room, I slammed the door and slide down to the floor pulling my knees to my chest.

"You'll see! This time it will be different!" I hear her yell.

Ya. Okay.

Eventually I stood up. I found my pajamas, stripped down and put them on.

I pulled the business card out of my jacket it pocket and then crawled into my bed.

I read it again.

Wonderlands Bookshop, tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. M.H.

Does this place even exist? Is this a joke, possibly a prank?

I put the card on the night stand and then laid my head on the pillow. I stared at the ceiling for awhile before I fell into a dark dream land.
