SpringsWillow was a quaint little town, with a loving church community and mayor. Everyone knew everyone and barely any drama besides kids gossip disrupted it.

Sonnie Gordon, Either known as Father James's daughter and the most successful girl in town.

She was kind, caring, loving, and has gotten straight A's since she could remember.

Sonnie was what the world needed. At least, that's what everyone thought.

She was walking home, she'd missed the bus because she was so busy talking to a boy she liked. His name was Mark, the popular boy, he and Sonnie were always shipped together.

Mark was way out of her league, sadly.

The pain in her legs became recognized by Sonnie as she stopped walking, she stared down at the sidewalk as little raindrops hit the pavement. It was about to (rain.)

Sonnie loved the rain, from inside. Going outside when it was raining ruined her hair and uniform.

She quickly ran home as the rain turned into a downpour, other people who were out and about opened their umbrellas or were seeking shelter.

Sonnie didn't know it'd rain. She was an idiot! It hurt to walk, let alone run, everything in her was sore. Theatre, band, and choir practice is pretty harsh on you after awhile.

Sonnie eventually reached her home, it was a large blue Victorian mansion. It stood out like a sore thumb among the other houses.

She walked up the porch steps, she was safe from the rain. Her hair wasn't, the huge amounts of hairspray she use was washed out and her hair was a mess.

Sonnie walked inside, around 3 cats came prancing over to her. All were black cats and some were fluffy as ever.

She set her backpack and trumpet case down and swapped her outfit for a more comfy one.

Her hair was tied neatly in a ponytail as she noticed a note, set on the fridge with a magnet.

"Sonnie, I'll be home late. Someone broke one of the church's windows, me and the repair man Need to discuss plans on how to repair it. -Dad"

She sighed, guess it's just her and the cats. Sonnie made a quick meal and sat down on the couch, putting on a random cartoon the cats seemed to like.

She was on her phone, scrolling though social media and responding to messages..

The thing about springswillow was that they were slightly old fashioned, even though it was 2018 everyone owned pretty old cars and wired phones from the early 2000s. Meanwhile everyone's smartphones and tvs were like new.

Sonnie jumped as she heard the living room phone ring, she got up with a huff and answered it. Frustrated that her laziness was interrupted.

The person on the other side of the line had a static sounding voice.

"Sonnie has informed me of her dislike for living in SpringsWillow. She claims deep-seated feelings of being overwhelmed, angry, bitter, and resentful towards those who she believes seek to overtake her. She then boasted that she is the answer to the world's needs, and is greater than everyone else. Her behaviors are becoming increasingly concerning"

She felt a seething rage, "who is this." Sonnie practically hissed into the phone.

Static, until..

"Hello Mr. Gordon, this is [STATIC] calling to inform you that Sonnie has been found dead. Please come to st.gordon church immediately."

. . . .

Sonnie hung up the phone, she decided to go to bed early. Even if it's only 7pm

The morning came quicker then she'd like, there was a service going on at the Church. More work, she huffed and got out of bed.
