I was busy decorating the living room since it was my brother Jay's birthday and I wanted to surprise him. He was out with Heeseung. well, I begged Heeseung to keep him busy until we are finished with everything.
It was all going well which is not good- "OH MY GOD NIKI WHAT DID YOU DO!?!" yep now it is here. Sunoo yelled as I run inside the kitchen
"WHAT HAPPENED!?!?" I yelled out as my eyes then travelled to the burned pan. My eyes widen
"NIKI!?!?" I looked at him waiting for an explanation
"I-uh you know...I just..well I got distracted with my phone and...this happened.." I sigh as I massaged my temples.
"Told you we should've just ordered then this wouldn't happen," said jungwon.
"What's that burning smell?"
Jake asked as he entered the kitchen with Sunghoon, they just came from buying a birthday cake for Jay.
We couldn't afford to lose the oven by baking a cake since we all suck at cooking or lit the kitchen on fire but that was so close....to happening
"Now what do we do?" I said.
"We should just order-"
"Wait GUYS" We all looked at Sunghoon "Isn't that Jay's...favourite pan?" My eyes widen. Yes it was how could i forget..
"Niki good luck Jay's gonna kill you now" sunoo spoke, "HEY WHY ME!?"
"IT IS BECAUSE OF YOU IF YOU DIDN'T PLAY WITH YOUR PHONE THEN THIS WOULDNT HAVE HAPPENED-"
"Chill guys this isn't the time to bicker. We have to buy the same pan he bought-"
"HECK NO! That shit is expensive and he bought it from Japan. Do you think we can fly to Japan right now and buy it? I don't think so" Sunghoon said.
Before Jake could say something we heard the doorbell. We all looked at each other. I clearly said to Heeseung to bring Jay here only after I call him. So who...?
Everyone then started running and Niki throw away the burned food and hid the pan. jungwon then bring out an air freshener and started spraying it everywhere to remove the burning smell as I and the others tidied up the place. The doorbell rang again and I quickly put away the waste into the bin and ran to the doorbell. I clear my throat and opened the door
There stood an angry Jay with a panic heeseung when he saw me he spoke "y/n I tried my best to keep this man with me but he was being arrogant and wanted to go home and I couldn't hold him..." I assured him its fine and let them in
When Jay stepped inside the others yelled Happy birthday. His face was immediately replaced with surprise and soon he smiled. I hugged him and said "Happy birthday brother! Can't believe you're an oldie no-OUCH YAH!" he hit my back as I hit him back even harder

Jay smiled as he closed his eyes to make his wish and opened them again and was about to blow out the candles when he stopped.
"Do you smell something?" Jay said making us all widen our eyes. I looked at jungwon as he looks at me. I raised my eyebrow as he shook his head then he realised something.
Great.
Before we could do something Jay run to the kitchen as I look at jungwon again.
"I forgot to air freshen here!!" "How the fxck out of all place!? How can you forget here??" Sunghoon whisper-yelled
"Guys... what's going on? Can someone explain?" Heeseung said confused about what was going on Just then Jay came out with the Pan...
Niki gulped as he stood frozen. Anger was visible on Jay's face as he looked at all of us "Which one...of you did this?" He held up the pan as he looked at me as I avoided eye contact
"IT WAS JUNGWON-"
jungwon looked at Niki with eyes wide with a bitch what? Face. "Of course, I know it's not jungwon...so who?"
Of course, he trusts his lifeline.
Jay looked at Niki "It's you isn't it?" "Well- uh, surprise?"
"Surprise...? COME HERE YOU LITTLE-" Niki started running as Jay chased him.
