"산소 같은 너~
난 너만 들이쉬면
다시 내뱉을 수 없어~
이 잔인한 고통 속에
내가 죽어가고 있잖아~"Inhye sings along. She had her earphones on as she was going home from an errand in the night, and it immediately made her ignore her surroundings like nothing was there.
It was a miracle that she survived, as Taesung's motorcycle bike would've hit her, even after all of that sound of revving and honking. She was unaware of her surroundings, and she almost hit a few stuff. Not wanting for her to be a danger to society and to herself, he sighed, zoomed over her with his bike and stopped in front of her.
Inhye was indeed surprised, and jumped back a little bit.
"You surprised me!" Inhye took out her earphones from her ears. Even from afar, loud music could be heard from her earphones.
"Well, if you were aware of your surroundings, you would've been aware that I've been honking and revving behind you for a while now." Taesung crossed his arms.
Feeling guilty, Inhye immediately bowed.
"Sorry!" She stood up straight, "I was just listening to music that was just released."
"You still should be careful." He scolded. "Why are you walking alone this late at night?"
"I just went to a convenience store to buy something." She said vaguely. Taesung looked at her up and down, eyes staying on the plastic bag she was bringing.
"You're not smoking again are you?" Taesung interrogated.
"I'm not!"
"Then what's in the bag?"
Inhye turned red. "No!" Inhye didn't want him to know she bought pads. It was embarassing!
"It's something that you don't need to know!"
"Even so, you should still be careful. Hop on, I'll take you home." Taesung motioned to the backseat of his bike.
"You really don't have to--" She declined. "My place is really close--"
"You're still alone at night, what kind of guy am I if I don't bring a girl home?"
He has a point. But Inhye didn't want to trouble him as they weren't exactly friends. She was about to reject him again, but as she met his eyes, as if knowing what she'll say, Taesung gave a pointed stare.
"I don't want to be the last witness if you ever get kidnapped." He added with a pout.
Inhye finally relented.
"Fine." She finally agreed. She hopped on the back of Taesung's bike.
Taesung took off his helmet with a tiny flinch and passed it to her in the back without looking.
"Wear this, I don't have an extra helmet today."
"Oh?" She accepted the helmet and put it on, and immediately after Taesung heard the click of the glass drop, he revved and drove away, surprising Inhye a little bit.
"Hey!" Came her muffled sounds from the helmet. "Don't drive too fast, moron!" She complained and hit his back with a fist.
Taesung smiled a little.
"Hold on," He said, and he drove even faster, making Inhye instinctively hold his sides in fear.
Inhye punched his back.
"You're not even wearing a helmet! Slow down!"
Taesung chuckled and slowed down, listening to Inhye's demands.

Not a diss on Taesung's driving, but riding a motorcycle was scarier than she thought. Especially when the corners come, she really felt like she was about to fly off the seat. She held on to Taesung for dear life.
Thankfully, her place wasn't that far from the convenience store. They got there in minutes. Taesung turned off the engine and balanced the bike so Inhye could get down.
"T-Thanks..." Inhye said with heavy breaths, happy that it was over. She carefully took of his helmet and tidied her hair with one hand and passed him back his helmet with the other, "Here-- Thank you for letting me borrow it."
Taesung smiled a little bit.
"Wait, is that--" Inhye gasped as she saw the cut on his lip, "Blood?!"
"It's not something you need to know~" He sang-sung, brushing it off. Taesung quickly put on his helmet.
"Did you fight?" She asked, and Taesung turned on his bike engine. Inhye noticed that he wasn't answering her and avoiding confrontation. Just before he was about to go, she quickly asked,
"Are you ok...?"
Taesung stilled. He then sighed.
"Worry about yourself, pabo-ya. You don't need to worry about me." With that, he drove off coolly with his bike.
Inhye just watched him go with a gaping mouth. But then she remembered his face again. He looked more sullen than his usual self.
"I hope he's fine though..."
