Chan-woo opens the door to a house and walks in curiously. He whistles as he looks at the white furniture and granite counter tops. He looks at the living room and scoffs at the large couch before turning to look back at the kitchen. Si-u rolls his eyes while sitting on the counter and leans back on his hands, then tilts his head to the side.
"What?" Si-u asks and frowns a little.
Chan-woo shakes his head and lifts the key in his hand before smiling warmly.
"Nothing, your house is just super nice. I've never been in a house this nice." Chan-woo answers, which makes a smile slowly appear on Si-u's face.
"Well... thank you. I worked hard to buy this house."
"I can tell. It's really nice."
Si-u looks around his house with a pained smile, so Chan-woo lowers the key, then slides his hands into his yellow sweater pocket.
"Well, I'm going to go snooping around now." Chan-woo says seriously and watches the smile disappear from Si-u's face.
Si-u looks at Chan-woo quietly before turning his head and nodding it towards a small hallway. Chan-woo obediently follows the direction and opens the first door on the left to find a bathroom. He turns and walks to the door across from the bathroom and opens it instead.
Chan-woo smiles and walks into the bedroom while looking around. The room is very clean and organized with a made bed in the corner with a desk pushed against the wall on the left. Chan-woo walks to a bookshelf and starts scanning the books and folders. He pulls out a folder and opens it to check what's inside. He finds a few photos and papers on an old case, so he puts the folder back.
He goes through rows of files before he pulls out a folder and opens it to see security photos of Si-u's boss at a boat rental store. Chan-woo smiles to himself and quickly closes the folder and takes his backpack off, and sets it on the bed.
Si-u leans against his computer desk and crosses his arms while watching Chan-woo slide the folder into his backpack. Chan-woo briefly looks at Si-u and looks back at his bag before looking back up and studying Si-u closer. Si-u squeezes his arms tighter before Chan-woo's eyes slowly glance at the desk he's leaned against.
"Your desk?" Chan-woo asks and rushes to the desk as Si-u remains quiet.
Chan-woo glances at the books and folders standing upright and stacked along the wall. He ignores the books and quickly touches the computer to turn it on. Chan-woo bites his lip as a password bar appears on the screen. Chan-woo slowly turns his head and glances at Si-u, who just leans against the desk while watching quietly.
"You can tell me your password... right?" Chan-woo asks and offers a cheeky smile, which makes Si-u roll his eyes.
"My mother's birthday."
"Thanks." Chan-woo says but notices Si-u flinch in pain and quickly look away. "Now let's play the silent game." Chan-woo adds and smiles as he starts to look through the computer.
Si-u smiles at Chan-woo before he looks away, and they both sit in silence as Chan-woo keeps working. Chan-woo leans back from the computer after almost an hour and groans loudly. He takes a few steps from the computer while rubbing his hair before turning to look back at Si-u.
"There's nothing on there." Chan-woo complains as Si-u doesn't move away from his desk.
Chan-woo studies Si-u, and his eyes break a little before he turns and picks up his backpack.
"Sorry, I found nothing. I promised Hae-sung we would have lunch today. Maybe we can try another day." Chan-woo says as he slips on his backpack and then turns to face Si-u.
