The Hollow Mountain. (Celeste x Hollow knight crossover fanfic)

The Knight

The knight looked up at the looming mountain leaning its shadow over the vessel. It crossed the bridge baring his nail but no enemy's came. He traversed the mountain dashing and jumping with his claw charting his course into the mountain. He got to an old and forgotten ruin and dashed through the odd starry blocks unreminiscent of anything in Hallownest. The pure nail burned for soul yet no hits came.

meanwhile...

"hey Me can I ask you something totally random"

"shoot"

"Have you ever wondered what its like to explore the depths of the ocean?"

"uhhh what?"

"the ocean and what its like to ex..."

"no shush what is that thing over there"

"which thing"

Madeline and Badeline stared at the tiny figure walking towards them. The knight raised its nail ready for combat staring the two mysterious figures down.

"Woah little.. thing? we don't mean any harm"

"But he does, he quite literally has a sword raised. That's it I'm attacking first"

"WAIT DONT JUS-"

a beam of red light shot out of Badelines hand aiming for the small figure yet the knight dashed through his shade cloak waving through the attack. He charged his nail art and dashed forwards aiming for Madeline's neck. Badeline gripped the nail hard inches away from Madeline's neck.

"I think you might be right"

Madeline tackled the night by dashing into him and sent him flying. She then parkoured through the terrain reaching the space above the knight and with Badeline's help she flung herself at supersonic speed down into the knight making him crash into the floor. 

"oh god that was a little overboard"

she lowered herself to be on equal plane with the knight as the smoke cleared but she saw a peculiar light charging up and then disappearing over and over again.

"hello?"

suddenly the knight jumped up through the smoke using his wings to get just below madeline.

"AHH"

suddenly a wave of black and white energy emanated from the vessel with a howling noise reminiscent of screams hitting the three of Badelines clones who had stepped in just in time to protect Madeline. The clones disappeared from sight in an instant as they had been blasted away leaving the hollow knight to simply repeat his attack. Understanding the danger she was in In a last ditch attempt Madeline landed on the knights head to regain her jump grabbed a close by feather to fly away and hurtled herself backwards as the soul of the knight once again released its howling wraiths and light encompassed the room.
