A massive pile of rubble sat on the cracked and shattered floor. A small hand reached out of the a pile of stones and pulled themselves out.
"Oh my god... I almost died! Badeline? Badeline?!?!"

"Are you okay"
"Three of me got blasted by a magic beam of death what do you think"
"Fair point"
Madeline reached over to help baseline out the rubble.
"You're injured"
"I'm a ghost, spirit, thing? I don't think it matters. What does matter is where that skeleton head thing is"
"It's behind us"
Baselines eyes widened and flew back raising her hands and starting to channel energy.
"Don't worry I THINK he is passive. He's just been standing there for three minutes"
Badeline lowered her hand and floated over there her tendril like hair still flowing in the wind.
"Is he dead? We've heard cases about people dying standing up before"
The knight raised its head to look directly at Badeline startling her.
"Madeline, Badeline are you there? I heard a crash"
"Theo hey!"
"Jeez what happened you two look rough"
The knights eyes seemed to darken and it raised its nail menacingly looking at the new commer.
"Whoah hey if you caused all this I'm not going to mess with you, I'm just here for my friend okay byee"
Theo grabbed the duo and brought them around the corner.
"WHO IS THAT GUY AND HOW DID HE BLOW UP THE FREAKING RUINS"
"we don't know he just showed up. And Baseline attacked him first"
"And for that I apologise but we have a much bigger problem right now"

Theo and Madeline jumped and scrambled behind Baseline
"Oh grow up. Can you speak little... What is that thing, uhhh knight?"
The vessel shoock his head and walked past them.
"I see we follow him"
"WHY HE BLASTED ME INTO THE ROOF. We better of ignoring him"
