Chained

bloodline.

The wind was stinging  my face, as I creep through the trees. The woods seemed like it could go on forever as I hunt my prey. The prey, was a man I was ordered to kill by the name of rob. If I'm honest, I don't really know why I'm killing him , but the one thing I do know is he's a bad man, and thats enough for me.

I love my job, it pays good, and how i see it im throwing away the bad apples. because no one likes bad apples. Im good at what I do and thats why i know i will get him, plus that man doesnt even know what cardio is.

I stand still listening. I hear crunching from behind and i quickly whip that way. I'm now faced with the man, however he is quick with his gun and shoots. He misses by just an inch, and I ran to the left behind a big tree . A couple more of his gunshots go off. I stand still , with my gun in hand.

I peek out to see where he is, but i was apprently faced with a dumbass as i see him waddling away, back turned , with a clear shot.  i role my eyes annoyed he made it this easy for me. I say nothing and just shoot him clean in the head.

Just then my head piece goes off. It was my mother "Ella, I hurd a gun shot is everything okay. Is it delt with." "yes mother alittle too easy this big bastard is not that bright. Got a clear shot of the back of his head, quick and easy again."

I hear her sigh and continue "well get back out here im parked along the street next to the woods. Go to the side there is less people that way and meet me a ways up, you'll see me dear."

"copy that" I say and got to my moms car quickly. I turn around , and I'm faced with my sister Brooke "really Mom she's here?" she rolls her eyes at me and flips me off. " Brooke enough of that." my mom says and drives off.

Brooke is my younger sister , and since she's only 15 she cant start helping me yet intill she is 16, which is coming up in a few months. Brooke never really liked what our family does . She's opened up to me about it so many times, the poor girl is so scared . But mom always brings her along when she picks me up. So she's probably never really that happy to see me either.

My mother is a hard-working woman , and is a retired assassin, everybody wanted her on their team . But then she ended up having us and then dad died . So she never really exactly had time. That's when we had to move out of our hometown because too many people wanted her dead , and still does to this day.

Finally we pull up to the driveway . Our house was big but not huge . I'd say it's pretty modern , it was a two-story house ,  me, my mom, my sister, and my best friend Jennifer all live together. My life at home is pretty easy, I have a stay-at-home business making Pottery cups and selling them online in my free time. Plus the money that I get from being an assassin

we just get into the house and suddenly then Jennifer comes running down the stairs in a panic. She goes straight to my mom and shows her her computer . Me and Brooklyn go silent as we watch the look on my mom's face. Her eyes go wide and she grabs the computer out of Jennifer's hand. " who is it mom?" there is a long pause when she responds with  "one of shadows men. He left a note under our doormat."

we all look at each other and run out the house to the doormat. I get to it first and whip away the carpet to reveal a folded up note. I hurry back inside and everyone else follows behind me. I rush to  the kitchen table and slowly start to unfold the note, it had  handwriting that says

Dear reader, you have 2weeks to turn over to our side. If you do not,the villa States that you shall be sacrificed. You have what we want Eleanor, hope this finds you well.

"what does he want." I look over my shoulder to my mom . She looked very frightened a look that I haven't seen in a while. She gets up and grabs the note out of my hands and throws it out quickly. "We won't let them" she says and she walks away. We all look at each other  in silence , knowing that my mother is hiding something.
