It's been almost a year since the Mane 6 and I graduated from Canterlot High. We have all continued on different paths since then; Principal Cinch and Vice Principal Cadence helped Sci-Twi apply for her scholarship to Everton (although Principal Cinch was still feeling guilty on the inside for what happened long ago at The Friendship Games), Fluttershy was about starting her second year studying a bachelor's degree in veterinary science, Applejack was working at Sweet Apple Acres (she may become the next heir), Rarity was almost in her second year of college, studying fashion design and was still an employee at the Carousel Boutique. Pinkie Pie? Well, she became the organizer of town parties and fairs along with Cheese Sandwich and the friendly version of Sonata Dusk, while Rainbow Dash was studying to be a physical education teacher (she isn't going to study as coach since she was good for all that)

And me? Well, I'm working part-time at a restaurant. The colleges where I wanted to study knew what my attitude was like from the time I entered Canterlot School until the night of the fall formal, and therefore both rejected my application. I felt that my bad reputation would close the doors to success, but I held my head high no matter the circumstances.

My shift at work was about to end, so I grabbed my purse and bought an order before sitting in the corner so I could eat.

"Sunset?"

I recognize that voice anywhere, it was Flash Sentry, walking with his tray of food towards where I sat. "Hello, it's nice to see you again."

"Yes, same." I replied, grabbing a French fry.

"And that uniform? Do you work here?"

I rolled my eyes. "No, I'm off the pedestal to do free promotions. Of course I work here, silly!"

"Wow, working here must be torture."

"Not really, and even if it was I wouldn't care."

Flash grabbed his drink. "And tell me, are you studying or..."

Just remembering it made me want to cry. "No, they rejected my application in the two college options I had, because they already know what I did until the fall formal... the more I want to leave it behind, there is always someone who reminds me and makes me feel bad about it. "

"That's bullshit, and for something that was out of your control."

He took a deep breath. "Since we graduated from Canterlot High I feel very empty. I miss school activities, my friends, Princess Twilight..."

Flash looked down and sighed. "I also miss Twilight... even though you told me to get over her, I still dream of holding her in my arms and never letting her go."

"And I understand that... I wish she was here to help me see the positive side of things."

"If it's any consolation, I can help you fill out an application to enter Maretonia University. I study there, and they don't care what kind of reputation you have. Well, it's not like other universities, but they offer you everything you want to study."

I smiled. "Thank you Flash, seriously... I don't know how to repay you for that favor..."

"But I do, what do you think if you spend the night at my house? I mean, it's not to do dirty things, it's to start interacting."
